Because of its total enclosure with over an acre of open space Ellenborough Park is the perfect place to give your gigs a run and give them much needed socialisation with other dogs.

There are signs up saying no entry and the grass is long, the park if you can call it that uninviting. It is really just a fenced off bit of scrub land which should be opened up, tidied up and made more inviting.

Basically just a largeish rectangular stretch of grass (currently all yellow and dead because of the drought). The seaward half appears to have been commandeered by a local school and is totally closed off to the public (apart from a vagrant camping there!).

Found this lovely quiet park just off Marine Parade by Seaquarium. Great for a good break from the hustle and bustle particularly for couples and older folk. take lunch along as less trouble from gulls. CAVEAT wheelchair users, Weston-Super-Mare have dropped the kerbs for us...More
