So many squirrels!!
Oct 2021
We've never seen so many squirrels at one time! It's the arrival of autumn that brings them out. We had brought some nuts with us and so they had a great feast. It was fascinating to watch them, how beautiful, how tame they are (one climbed onto my shoe!). We sat near the rockery for a change and admired the handiwork of the local volunteer gardeners including Weston in Bloom (Anne Bunn is a stalwart of the voluntary gardeners). At present they are working on a description in flowers, plants and paintings of Alice in Wonderland, using an old stone building which stands near the rockery. The stone steps have been painted, too. What a wonderful couple of hours we had, drinking in the beauty of the many different aspects of this gorgeous little park away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Weston High Street.

Nice to escape to away from noise and bustle of Weston
Sep 2021
Beautiful and quiet park just tucked away, out of the way of the noise and rush of Weston, just a short walk from the front. Nice to see it well kept and nice range of summer bedding. Jill Dando's garden still looks great after all these years, remember visiting it when hadn't long been created with my dear parents, sadly now both gone. Nice way to spend an hour before back to the rest of Weston. Shame toilets were not open which thought was bad, but snack bar/cafe was, we didn't use it but alot of people were.

Nice Well Kept Park
Sep 2021
This is a very nice park a few streets back from the sea front. There is also a memorial garden in there for Jill Dando, which was designed by the ground force team.

A gem in the Northern part of Weston.
Aug 2021
I came across this place this week on my second day there, Was tired and thirsty and still unwinding form a previous eight hour journey,, A well laid out park opened up before my steps., Playgrounds. What looked like an old band stand,, separate gardens, Rare Mediterranean/ African trees ,, Shady bowers , toilets and a super cafe where I was served by a friendly young lass and I chilled out in the shade of a parasol sipping my mug of tea,, A place to go to unwind,,

Peaceful
Aug 2021 • Couples
A very peaceful few hours spent in this park which we primarily visited to view the garden to commemorate Jill Dando .
The park definitely has a community feeling to it & is worth a visit. Lots of interest.
Our visit commenced with a visit to the Café ~ ideal for a hot drink/cake light lunch /ice cream.
Plenty of parking nearby, not over expensive, some reductions for disabled parking
Toilets situated in the car park.

A hidden oasis

We found the park nestled behind the town. It’s a lovely well kept park with ornamental borders. Well kept and maintained by volunteers. Lovely place to chill out. Jill Dandos garden is a lovely monument to her memory.
