Seems to be difficult to find restaurants for dinner during the week in Aberdeenshire. Many are closed. FoF open for dinner from Thur-Sunday. We (3 persons) were the only guests - and surprised to find indeed a hidden jewel. Excellent food (Monkfish, Lamb stew, chicken),...More

Lovely place for funeral teas, close to Baldarroch Crematorium. Beautiful selection of sandwiches and wraps, lovely homemade soup, delicious local sausage rolls and fresh made scones with jam and cream with fresh coffee and tea for the menu the family chose. Staff were very accommodating...More

Always a firm family favourite- a pit stop at the brig to watch the salmon jump. I remember doing this for the last 30yrs - it hasn't changed and is still as enchanting Definitely worth the 20min detour

After such a dry summer and autumn so far, the falls were quite tame but easy to imagine a torrent roaring over the rocks and under the bridge. We enjoyed a coffee and a light meal at the excellent restaurant overlooking the ravine.

Passing views when passing by. We stumbled across the footbridge when we saw this scenery. It’s definitely beautiful but a shame that there’s no incorporated walks! Definitely worth a look.

Very pretty small falls with good viewing area. Watching salmon leaping trying to pass upstream was a real bonus. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. A nice looking restaurant just across the road although we didn't have time to visit.
