We went for lunch at the weekend and must say i was blown away by the setting. On a nice day it would be lovely to sit out on the terrace and watch the river flowing by. The food was excellent and presented beautifully although not big portions if this is what you like, but definitely enough. Drink was on... More

A great wee while spent Salmon Spotting, kids loved it and were totally excited to see the salmon trying to leap the waterfalls. A great point of conversation afterwards an excellent place at this time of year with the autumnal colours and wildlife.

Have been here before but never saw any salmon - guess it was the wrong time of the year. This time we hit the jackpot and saw plenty of salmon jumping the falls - few made it up but they keep trying - the force of the water is pretty strong and I'm amazed they can get up. We were... More

The falls of Feugh are stunning any time of the year, as you stand on the bridge and look at the power of the river flowing over the falls below you. There are twice a year when the falls become even more stunning and these are when the salmon start to swim up the river to spawn, at this time... More

When touring the Highlands, on your way to Aberdeen, Falls of Feugh is a welcome stop on the road from Balmoral to the North Sea. It has an almost alpine aspect and is easy to reach. The water was not missing when we visited in early September ....

pretty waterfalls that are close to the road. Lots of people around so don't expect lot of peace and quiet

This really is no more than 'average' and is probably only a popular tourist attraction because you don't have to walk more than a few yards to see the falls. Overall, not really worth making a detour for

Wonderful hidden fall that typifies the wild scenery of Scotland but within easy reach for visitors and camera lenses. Coffee shop near by makes this a destination to visit rather than a passing place.

This is a beautiful spot with easy parking nearby. Try and time your visit for when the salmon are running and you will be amazed by the site of the fish fighting their way up the falls.
