Usually visiting in April or September, this is a wonderful spot to watch the salmon leap. It can take a bit of patience but such a beautiful spot. Can be a bit noisy as you're on a little bridge regularly crossed by cars coming to the car park next to you though. Definitely one to fit in though if you're... More

A short walk from Banchory town, attractive white water rapids. We tried to spot the leaping salmon but were unsuccessful. Nice cupmof tea at the tea rooms too.

My family and I loved looking for the salmon and we actually saw some! The view was breathtaking from the bridge. I think that the fact that it was 20 degrees Celsius added to the enjoyment. 😇

Visited while on holiday and was more than impressed with the interior and wonderful location. We just went for a light bite in the afternoon, a bit disappointed they don’t have a selection of jams; only strawberry jam available and I am allergic to them, so I opted for the Victoria sponge, lo and behold there were strawberries in it!... I have driven past The Falls of Feugh Restaurant (and function suite) hundreds of times and have always thought I would like to visit, today was the day. Driving past in a car you might blink and miss this local eatery. It is squeezed in between the river and the road, although once inside you are blissfully unaware of the... More

Great scenic venue beside a waterfall with the river running at the side of the venue. Great catering team ably led by head chef John Chomba who's worked in numerous top class venues. Sumptuous menu with great front of house service. Really cannot praise this venue high enough. It's raised the bar in Grampian for others to strive for.

Worth stopping for the view if your passing by but I'm not sure I would want to travel too far to visit, albeit if the salmon had been running this would have been a different experience.

When on a visit to Banchory we went from the town centre and walked to the bridge. An amazing sight and the noise of the fall deafening. We saw Salmon leaping and also walked up the river from the bridge A sight worth seeing

The Falls of Feugh located on the edge of Banchory are some of the most scenic waterfalls and Rapids I have ever viewed, a camera is a must have on your visit.

The Falls of Feugh are awesome and a great place to visit. I have done a photography course here before and now it is a fab spot to visit on a walk or whilst out at Banchory. The one gripe I have is the bridge bar which is a viewing obstruction for those over the height of 5' 7" -... More
