Decided to pay Camel Valley vineyard a visit whilst on holiday in Cornwall. We have visited vineyards in the Champagne region of France and were interested to see how the English do it. We were very impressed, our tour guide was Sam Lindo, son of the founders of the vineyard, which was founded in 1989. Sam was an excellent guide,... More

Was a great pit stop whilst cycling on the camel trail, Sam gave us a half an hour tour (good value) and we got to sample a glass of bibbly! Amazing to see how they have been winning awards, seem such a lovely family as well! Don't expect Reds, it the quality of the Rose and Bubbly was fantastic! Take... More

A fabulous visit and wine tour hosted by the owner. Witty, knowledgeable and entertaining the wine tour covers the history of the winery from its humble beginnings to its award winning wines. Following this. There follows a terrific tasting session sat on the terrace in the early evening sun. A good mix of the finest white and rose, still and... More

This is well worth a visit as its set in lovely rolling countryside with superb views and is also fairly close to the Camel Valley trail. Our guide was so knowledgeable and showed our group around each stage of their wine making facility. It was so interesting. Also an opportunity to sample some of the wines too after the tour.... This vineyard and winery is the most awarded and recognised in England. It is set in a peaceful and scenic valley, close to the town of Bodmin and the eponomous Bodmin Moor. It is such a peaceful and excellent place to visit, offering a fantastic range of quality wines, that we went back for a second afternoon! On the first... More

We had this tour visit as Xmas present from the children, took us a while to fit it in, when we finally went it was a visit that was very enjoyable, time we'll spent, you are given wines to sample, which can be purchased at the end. I would recommend anyone interested in that type of visit to go. We... More

Sam Lindo was such a great guide and host...he took us through the vineyard and explained the growing season, the varietals grown, and the harvesting process...he took us to the winery and showed us the automatic riddling machine...we all received one coupon for the tasting room so I was expecting one glass...no way...that's not Camel Valley style...we had ample sampling... Thank you Bob for your amazing Grand Tour and Tasting experience. We really enjoyed your hospitality and of course the excellent wine on offer. What an excellent way to spend an early evening, especially when the sun is shining. We took the train and local taxis to get to the vineyard as we were on holiday in another part of... More
