We had a guide at the Hall who was very informative. Explaining highlights of the building which makes it more interesting than having to read lots of information yourself. The organ in the house was amazing and it works, although I am not sure I want to be in the room when it is being played! Do look up at... More

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff at Adlington Hall for making my wedding day so magical. In particular Pip and Bridget who couldn't have been anymore welcoming, friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make us feel so special and the day ran so wonderfully because of them. It really was the best... More

This is a great couple of hours worth with or without kids. A fantastic building (great tours) and the garden (The Wilderness!) together with the maze is absolutely wonderful and a great stroll. Enjoy the tudor tea room or just relax outside in the sun. Car park is directly in front of the hall.

There is a car park for visitors close to the Hall and walking up to the building you have an idea of how it was constructed the inside is lovely with different parts to see. The gardens are very extensive, we popped into the tea room for a coffee and thought the cake was a bit pricey at £3.50 for... More

What a fabulous place to visit. Truly fascinating history of the place and a lovely tea and cake afterwards. Very knowledgable tour guides, in fact every member of staff we came into contact with was highly professional. Well worth an afternoon trip out to this historical house. I could also see this as a great wedding venue. Do make the... More
