About
Pickie Fun Park was extensively redeveloped in 2012. Children can play in the adventure playground, enjoy the watery fun of the splash pads, enjoy a ride on the electric car track or climb aboard the Pickie Puffer for a narrow-gauge railway journey around the colourful landscape. All the family can pedal a giant Swan around the shallow waters of the lovely Lagoon, compete with each other in our mini golf course or take a break in the cafe. The fun park is at the gateway to the Marine Gardens, a delightful stretch of coast for leisurely walks. There are panoramic views of Bangor Bay and the hills of Antrim beyond. Just take a seat, relax and marvel at the wonders all around, or eat your picnic before making your way round to Wilson's Point. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the views over Belfast Lough.

Plenty of variety; well organised, a fun place to be. 4-year-old loved it. Spent £20 on tokens for the rides that required them, Good value because of the variety with plenty of 'free' play items to fill out a couple of hours with ease - plus stopping for ice cream. Friendly helpful young staff. Only major downside was the toilets which, towards the end of the afternoon, had obviously not been cleaned and in some cases were disgusting. Pity because everything else would be recommended for a visit and would have been worth 5 stars

I had never heard pf this place before and on booking a weekend to bangor, we started to explore what was available to do with kids. it was a glorious weekend of weather and due to this we were unable to get in the first day and were advised to book online for the following day. The guys at the gate were just lovely, they had a difficult job to do, turning so many away but remained so friendly and helped me book online on my phone there and then for the next morning. On return the following day, they remembered us and said hi and asked were we enjoying ourselves. The park is amazing value for money with the wrist bands for £13. The cafe food was really nice and good value for money. the place was very clean. the girl on the golf kiosk was a sweetheart. this all added to the lovely family atmosphere. I have told everyone i know about this place and we will definitely be back.

We absolutely love Pickie Park, been a few times and always enjoy ourselves. However today we planned a visit and bought wristbands for the family, unfortunately we spent most of the day queuing and the kids got tired and restless, we just about managed 1 turn on the ducks, swans, train, electric cars and motor boats. Not exactly how we planned so the wristbands cost us more than pay as you go, just something to bare in mind. There was a lot of sanitisers to use although they were quite difficult to get anything out of, luckily we brought our own anyway.
So overall the kids came away pretty exhausted from standing and queuing.

We visited on Tuesday 30 August. The ticket kiosk was closed, the train wasn’t running and the water play area was out of order. There was no staff around, just a notice to say tokens should be purchased on line. Fortunately another customer advised that tokens were available at the ice cream hut. This had only one member of staff trying to sell ice creams and tokens - very slow. The tokens are £1 each with most rides needing 4 tokens. Quite expensive if you are taking a number of children.
Northern Ireland businesses and local councils need to try harder to attract visitors, especially if they want return visits.

Not good value for money. The staff have no hats on girls with hair hanging all round their faces serving your food. Orderd tea they gave me a cup half full. The food is average nothing special threw out to you in a paper box with plastic Cutlery from staff who havnt a clue. You really would be safer saving your money and finding a nice wee chippy in bangor.
The disco boats well u could count to 30 and your childs time would be over at £4 a go it really is a rip off.
So let down with this place won't be back

Our kids loved their visit to Pickie Park! We bought the tickets online the night before so everything for them was included in the price. The young people working here are all so friendly and great withe kids. It is aimed at much younger kids.
Only issue was the man running the swan boats was rude to us when we were trying to get the kids on safety and only 2 of the disco ducks were working so the que for them is long.

Headed to Bangor for a drive with husband and three children (12, 13 and 14)
Had a super time walking along marina and enjoyed the disco ducks, swans and remote control boats in Pickies. Catered well for social distancing, staff were professional and friendly and the whole place was immaculately clean. Will visit again.

Really disappointed, First of all there was roughly four or so young teens working the tills and you could clearly see they didn’t want to be there. I waited to be served for up to five minutes, while being ignored - when eventually I just started announcing my order to the first person who made eye contact. (Wasn’t easy) What I ordered was a Chicken, bacon and cheese toastie with skinny fries, what I got was a stale, dry, white bread sandwich with a salad dumped on the side. Ordinally I would have no issue letting staff know I wasn’t happy, but no one came to ask that, so I thought F**k it, and got up and left. I’ll not be back. Also - for the love of God, move the till to the other side of the counter. Someone is going to get scalded

Great little fun park with lots of activities for the kids. My biggest disappointment however was that at 10.30 in the morning the previous day’s rubbish from all around the park was still scattered about. Discarded cups, packets and items of clothing just strewn all over the place. You think the first thing they will do in the morning would be to make it tidy and clean.

We have been to Pickie Park dozens of times over the years and have always LOVED it, so we expected the same this time round.

The boys thoroughly enjoyed all the usual attractions as they always do,however my only complaint and it was enough to put me off the place was the middle aged member of staff who I think his name was Peter.

We had purchased wristbands for my partner and the 2 kids, so when we went to the golf we showed their wristbands and I asked to pay for my own and went to hand them money.

Well, I must have thoroughly offended him by this because he had a face like absolute thunder and he responded in quite literally the rudest tone "no cash, card only". I apologised and said I didnt see a sign telling this at the golf and handed my card. His reply.... "there is a massive sign on the way in to the park if you had of looked"!!! I was mortified, there were a few others behind me waiting and I really was so embarassed. Nobody should be spoken to in that way, especially someone who has spent over £60 in your place of work on that day. So peter, if you are reading this please learn some basic manners and in how to speak to general public!!!!!!
