The friendliness of people in and around Bangor reflected the genuine character of its boating and fishing history. We were blessed with perfect weather and found so much of interest in the area.

went to the Bangor Marina Festival on Saurday. Thought it was very poorly organised and the prices the exhibitors where charging for food and drink was extortionate

Went to Bangor to see friends and took a walk around the marina. Bit of a sleepy town in May. Not a lot going on.

Bangor marina is a 5 anchor marina at the mouth of Belfast Lough. It has all the services expected of a quality marina and an excellent stop off on the way to the Scottish isles or costal hopping to the marinas further North

As we were very lucky with the weather we took our time wandering around the general marina area. Really lovely with Bangor shops, restaurants and cafes nearby.
