Although most famous for its castles, Scotland has an interesting culinary heritage. Get a true taste of the country during a full-day tour that visits the Glen Garioch Whiskey Distillery and three major historical attractions. Letting someone else drive means you’ll have more time to focus on northern Scotland’s stunning scenery and can skip worrying about getting lost on rural roads.

Lovely gardens at the back of the house with a beautiful tree-lined walkway. The house is currently not open due to the pandemic but the grounds are still open to explore. Toilets next to the house are not open but The Pheasantry houses public toilets which are a short walk away. Can get busy with young families and dog walkers but easy enough to keep socially distanced due to wide pathways. Great to explore on a sunny day.

Visited Haddo House this afternoon. We arrived in time for a very informative and entertaining tour from Ray a Volunteer with the NT.and The Country Park. So pleased to have arrived in time for his Tour at 2.00pm. A splendid story teller of the history of Haddo House. Thank you Ray. We went on to explore the Country Park and followed the well marked trails around the lake and Scots Long mile. Finished the visit with an excellent ice cream from Mrs Smith's Take away cabin.

Our Sunday visit seemed to coincide with that of everyone else in the area but after we got away from the car park there were no distancing issues. Although the main house was still closed, there are excellent walks in the estate grounds and the house gardens were still looking good. Lots for all ages to enjoy.

Having enjoyed our own walk in the grounds of Haddo House and setting to leave we chanced upon a meeting point in the car park for walking tours. Our Guide, Ray, was welcoming and very informative as he led us round the exterior of the House and the gardens. We learnt so much about the history of the House and the family during a fascinating hour. It's a shame that covid has forced the House to shut meantime but it was great that Ray could still share his knowledge and add to an already super visit. Thoroughly recommend!

Fabulous garden and estate, long walks and although very busy it was easy to get away from the crowds. House and buildings not open and sadly the toilets closed so visitors had no choice but to use the grounds as a public toilet which was unpleasant.
