One forgets how stunning the Welsh coastline is we had a weekend break in Aberdovey and spent a wonderful time walking the beach, watching the local annual swim

Beautiful beach, massive walking, very clean, ultra dog friendly, everybody happy, families with kids playing and not crowded ( mind you it is October ) locals very receptive and helpful. Second time here this year. Back next year without fail. Love it.

Aberdovey beach is a long sandy beach. To reach the beach you have to walk across a railway line, golf course and beautiful sand dunes.

Sad at mid September our dog not allowed on the beach. Lots of other people had dogs. Been law abiding we were disadvantaged as no sign said where we could go 😣

We always take our dogs across the dunes to the dog friendly part of the shore when we visit Aberdovey. This is very much an unspoilt stretch that runs from the town all the way to Towyn, around four miles. Beautiful sandy beach with sand-dunes...More

Clean wide sandy beach. Perfect for families and dogs are welcomed...Although there's a few areas where children play and directly in front of the car park where dogs are not allowed. Easy to access and lovely views. Gorgeous on a warm Summer day but equally...More

Yes agree, the main car park is close to the beach and ideal for toddlers, car park is sensiblely priced considering the lovely location. Enjoy every moment!
