Don't visit - unless you want a parking ticket
Aug 2021
Unfortunately this is a parking fine 'hot spot' in a £100 fine. I went there to take my disabled mother out for the day and parked in the disabled bays next to the shops. These are not clearly and obviously marked as requiring parking payment unless go find a small sign, so it is very easy to miss. Despite providing reasonable evidence parking management company refused to take any notice. Result. I'm afraid that the shops and business will continue to suffer .... I will certainly not be going back!

Jul 2021 • Friends
Last week I went with a friend to hartlepool marina we thought we were lucky to find a ♿ disabled bay right outside of the restaurant a lovely meal was enjoyed. Today got a 100 pound parking ticket I never thought that as there was disabled bays even though I displayed the badge. WELL THAT IS THE LAST VISIT THERE

Interesting couple of hours
Jul 2021
Spent an interesting couple of hours with friends (July 2021). Highlight is the Trincolamee - really enjoyed wandering around the ship, I'm sure children would love it. Staff on the ship were very knowledgeable and helpful. The quay itself has plenty of interest, with mocked up shops with waxworks and room laid out. Whilst we were there there was a firearms demonstration which added to the experience
A good value and interesting way to spend the afternoon

Don’t visit - you’ll get a parking ticket
Apr 2021 • Couples
Used the ‘your parking space’ s app to pay for parking at Hartlepool marina. Unbeknown to me it locked on to premier inn Hartlepool marina - not the one with all the shops and restaurants. Attempted to change the booking location within minutes of realising my mistake but no option to do so except to go and email - the only way I could contact ‘your parking space’.
Got a £100 parking ticket sent to my address a few days later. Attempted to plead via email but they were unrelenting saying the parking ticket was issued legally despite my proof of payment for the wrong location just 30 metres away.
Hartlepool’s quayside business is destined to disappear as no one will visit if this is allowed to continue.

Best part of Hartlepool

Around the Marina, lots of small cafes and bars, to sit and while away an afternoon. Take your pick, I'm sure they're all marvellous !

Fantastic.

A great celebration of the nations maritime history. Well laid out with "shops" giving a real insight into the costume and wares available!

Walks for the Photographer/Artist

I know of few other locations offering greater choice of walks along Town Walls, seafronts and breakwaters! I'm a professional photographer and this has kept me busy all week!

We LOVED it here!
Aug 2020
We LOVED our visit. The weather was fab so we just took our time to wander along and take everything in before sitting down to watch boats coming and going through the lock gates from sea. So enjoyable. Very educational watching the mechanics of it all. Definitely worth a visit

Going back 200 years
Jul 2019 • Solo
You have to pass through it to get to HMS Trincomalee.. it takes you back 200 years and although no you can access the ship easily it's well worth buying a ticket to visit the historic Quay as well

Nice place
Feb 2020
Hartlepool Quay is a nice looking place, well worth a walk around to see the boats in the Marina. Also close to town.
