You have to pass through it to get to HMS Trincomalee.. it takes you back 200 years and although no you can access the ship easily it's well worth buying a ticket to visit the historic Quay as well

Hartlepool Quay is a nice looking place, well worth a walk around to see the boats in the Marina. Also close to town.

I love it here and was very proud to be able to show my Uncle and Auntie around when they visited at Easter last year. We had a fab day. The soup of the day at the Cafe was amazing! Delicious Tomato soup!!.... My Uncle and Auntie were well impressed with The Historic Quay

Generally find the standard here is good but it is only one part of Hartlepool - so make sure you come here AND visit other parts that are free. It is a big area and there is lots to see.
