Heard the beach at Frinton was worth a visit. It's lovely. The long stretch of sand backed by the beach huts and the 'greensward' makes it an idyllic scene. Not your typical seaside town full of amusement arcades etc...…..thank goodness. A little gem.

Frinton on Sea is a great sea side resort......a blast from the past......no amusements, no arcades, no nonsense.... just a traditional seaside .... We enjoyed our time in Frinton!

Having travelled the world and had all sorts of adventures I went old school and hired a beach hut for £40 for a day by the seaside, to get away from the heat inland. I should have checked the tide, because there was no beach...More

Nicely kept beaches, although the past couple of times we’ve visited it’s been windy. Next time we’ll bring a windbreak. Very traditional looking British beach with rows of beach huts.

I didn’t see a way down without big slope or stairs. My mum has arthritis in her hip and she wouldn’t be able to do that walk.
