Discover Pembrokeshire's stunning coastal views and go deep into the Estuary with an experienced Stand-Up Paddleboard instructor. All lessons are held in calm waters. It's a fun and enjoyable way of discovering places that are only accessible from the water. And it is a sociable sport that can be enjoyed by the whole family, groups, or team members. We are based at Coppet Hall Beach, where we share a shed with The Big Beach surf shop. There is a big car park in front of Coppet Hall Beach Center (not suitable for Campers). Other parking spaces can be found in Saundersfoot and at the Harbour of Saundersfoot. It's only a 10min. walk from the center of Saundersfoot to Coppet Hall Beach: follow the road behind the cottages along the coast and go through the tunnel. There are toilets & showers at Coppet Hall Beach Center. The bay in Saundersfoot is protected from most wind directions, which makes it a great location for Paddleboarding. However, we constantly adapt our SUP sessions according to the weather to ensure the best experience. Some sessions will start from behind the Harbour as it provides a more sheltered area from the wind. Working with the sea means that our lessons have 'an element of the wild' and every session is different: you might be lucky enough to spot a seal, or try to catch a small wave on the SUP.

My sons and their friends ranging from age 9 to age 14 attended the mini SUP and taster session at Good Trails. It’s the second time my children have attended these sessions and would definitely recommend it and go again. The booking process was very simple and Alain was very responsive and helpful at all points of the booking.
The sessions started with getting kitted out in buoyancy aids and paddles then both sessions walked down with the paddle boards. The sessions explained the paddleboard features and the correct position to get on and up. The mini session was catered towards younger children, and the taster session catered from young teens to adults. The taster session went out further in the sea and gave them an opportunity to get back on the board once in the water. Both instructors (Graham and Alain) were very knowledgeable and all had great fun!

My friend and I with our teenage sons booked a SUP taster session for £25 each. Wetsuits and a paddle board are included; life jackets for under 16’s too. You get 1.5 hours which was a great amount of time. Max was our instructor and he was fantastic - friendly, calm and fun. Although I spent more time in the sea than on the board it was a brilliant experience and my son especially enjoyed and was even able to do a headstand on the board by the end! Brief but adequate instructions at beginning of session on the beach and the straight out onto the water!
Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and at ease.
I would definitely do this again!

Really great fun experience!
We were provided with excellent wet suits that kept us warm in cool conditions and the paddle boards were all very high quality.
There was clear and useful instructions for how to use the paddle boards then the safari was a solid 2 hours along the beautiful Coastline.
We were lucky to experience some warm sunshine which was glorious and then some dramatic rain on the way back.
We all had a great time and would definitely do it again, especially a bit later in the year when Seals are around!

1.5 hour lesson for my 12 and 15 year old daughters after buying them a SUP. Small group lesson with max 8 people.
Sioned the instructor was brilliant, they did on land safety instruction firstly and how to correctly use the paddle and then out to sea!
Tips on how to easily get on the board and balance, different paddle strokes for speed, manoeuvring, turning etc. A couple of days later they took the board back out and straight away you could see how much more capable and confident they were, it also made us as parents more confident of their safety. Would highly recommend, worth every penny.

Our instructor Graham was amazing. We were a group of mixed ability looking for a great way to explore the local area. This activity was a perfect mixture of introductory skills and advanced challenges, exactly what we wanted, would definitely recommend.

We visited the board hire shop with the intention of renting a couple of boards and splashing around until one of us got bored or needed rescuing from the Welsh sea. After speaking to Alan it became clear that a 2hr lesson was not only great value but a much safer option for absolute novices on the open sea.
After a short introduction and safety brief on the sandy coppet hall beach we got on the water. Alan was brilliant, funny and made us all feel confident in the water.
We would highly recommend you get a lesson while you are there and really make the most of this beautiful area and fantastic teacher.

We had a family lesson on the paddle boards. Everything was included including wetsuits if you needed them. Everything was explained clearly and well. We were taken into the sea and shown where to go and what to do. It was really good fun and we all enjoyed it. The instructor helped my young daughter. She was a little scared so she hooked her on her board until she became more confident. I would highly recommend it :)

An great introduction to SUP with Max an amazing instructor. We learned the basics from how to carry the board, to how to kneel, stand, paddle and turn. Max was patient and helpful throughout. We all loved it (even the teenagers couldn’t find anything to moan about!) and can’t wait to do it again. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids all provided. Thanks again to Max!

We had our initial instructions on the beach before heading into the water. Alain took time to explain what we needed to do to have fun and stay safe - lots of emphasis on safety. He made sure we could all hear him and no one floated off too far.
Although personally I spent more time in the water than on the board, this was down to my own inability but the group had a great time!
Would absolutely recommend for value for money and great fun.

Yes, the lessons for Tuesday and Wednesday are scheduled as follow (starting times):
Tuesday: 12:00 / 14:30 / 16:00
Wednesday: 13:30 / 15:30
The lessons are 1,5h in the water. If you would like to book one of those slots just let us know and we will pencil you in. You can either respond to this message, or contact us directly by whatsapp, email or phone all details on our website. We just need to know how many people, age and a contact number.
