Lovely architecture. It's clean and well run actually worth a look even if you are not travelling by train. Good service by staff when I had to purchase the tickets over the counter instead of using the machine.

Although a modern station with automatic barriers etc. the Stirling Station has many attributes of the long gone days of Scottish Railways. Look up into the elaborate truss work of the roof, and especially note the classic railway platform kiosk, which is very special.
Really, it's a very average railway station, there's nothing special about it at all. The parking is either a few feet away, or a block away, and the coffee shop is perfectly adequate, but nothing to get excited about one way or the other.
