Scotland has a national treasure and doesn't realise it.........just yet. Kids loved it (my 6yo conquered the English in a day). I loved it. Such a great venue tucked away in Bannockburn is a shame though, particularly if you've only stumbled upon it by chance (as we did) on your last day up from London. Long way to travel, but... More

It was a cold windy day it's a shame we had to go all the way into Sterling to get a coffee when there is one open but just didn't take dogs

My sister and I visited here as we have Historic Scotland memberships. What a great day out! The graphics used to take us through the various weaponry and soldiers was brilliant. We were then introduced to our host who was incredibly knowledgeable on the history and battle details. The battle experience itself was great fun...with our host giving advice on... More

Loved our trip here. Very informative and great visual displays. Great fun to take part in the battle (I was Queen Roberta haha) and lots of interaction and excitement. So much history, really can't recommend enough! Make sure you take the time afterwards to visit the monument.

I took 8 yr old son with me and everything about the day was great Staff are friendly and welcoming, the gent who delivers the computerised 3D exoerience is enthusiastic , knowledgable and and a skilled orator. We were both enthused by his vivid description of events By contrast the memorial and statue outside are tranquil and atmospheric, but nonetheless,... More

The 3D experience is very good and you can see how the immersive features add contextual understanding.. it has a wow factor. The speaker we had addressed the dynamics of the battle in a friendly and yet in-depth manner that a whole family from youngsters to seniors can appreciate. Loved the intellectual informality.

This museum is a modern, hands on museum. You can touch all the weapons and knights armor on display, there are interactive holograms that tell you information, a cool reenactment of the battle where you get to move your army around. This was an impressive place to visit. Kids would love it! The cafe was great too!

We found this experience quite boring. There was great scope to make this relatively new tourist attraction into a state of the art exhibition. The re enactment of the battle was the highlight but depended on visitor participation. I would not recommend this to family or friends.

We visited here at opening time. So much history to learn about. A really interactive experience and it was lovely to walk around the monuments. When it came to the battle experience I was the Queen of Scotland and my other half was the King of England. He beat me by a small margin but it didn't ruin the trip.... More
