I can’t believe the incredibly poor service that I've received from No1 Lounge Customer Services.

My booking had to be rescheduled several times, for obvious reasons. The booking included some extras; complimentary champagne AND premium security passes, but each time the booking was rescheduled, the extras got missed off. I did manage to get them reinstated on previous reschedules but have had no luck recently.

Their phone lines are closed, and they no longer reply to my emails. It has been over two months since I had any response. I think the COVID excuse is no longer valid. We have been in this now for over 18 months. They need to get their act together as everybody else has done!

I have now written to Gatwick Airport to see if they can resolve this matter. It will certainly be the last time I use No1.

I had to re-schedule my Club Rooms booking twice due to the current pandemic, and the customer service received on both occasions has been exemplary. Our lounge reservation was one of a number of holiday related bookings that required re-scheduling and the responsiveness, flexibility and attention to detail provided by Abi and Katie has been superb, and head and shoulders above other companies. Looking forward to our return next March.

Rescheduling after covid disrupts holiday

Been to several lounges over the years always had a lovely experience , just that something a little special rather than being like cattle in the other restaurants ,
Like to say a special thankyou for ABI guest relations manager from no1 lounges , as for obvious reasons 11 of us were unable to go this year and our booking was held ! , correspondence very prompt , rebooked for next year with absolutely no trouble at all , efficient and prompt service !

Fantastic

We had the lounge booked for 2 holidays that have had to be cancelled.
The service we have received has been fantastic. Despite how busy they must be we have always received fast replies to emails and no quibble over the refund.
I will definitely be rebooking with them as soon as we are able to travel again.
Abi has been our contact and she is fantastic.
Well done No1 Lounges and well done Abi. A credit to the company.

Disappointing visit

Having used this lounge in the North terminal ah Gatwick, I was disappointed with the one located in the South terminal. Albeit a lot of people use these facilities I found the furniture to be a bit on the scruffy side, especially the casual tables. The buffet was adequate With a good choice of coffees, teas and alcohol. There is a limited menu available of food which can be ordered from the bar, 1 item per person. Unfortunately this is where the real disappointment came in as we had to ask 3 times as to where our meal was. This was delivered to our table
some 45 minutes later. Having used the Clubroom I would prefer to use their facility for the extra cost.

Disappointing breakfast selection

Young man booking was very arrogant.

We have been to numerous lounges all over the world and we have been into the No1 lounge in Luton so we were expecting the same level of service and breakfast choice. We are sad to say we were extremely disappointed with this one. The lounge itself is comfortable with a nice atmosphere. Breakfast choice was very limited particularly if you don’t want to eat carbs!

My partner went to the sled service and selected a pain au chocolat it was rock hard.

The waiter was both apologetic and went and sourced another one (not on the plate of ones out as they were all hard too!) that wasn’t hard, but again disappointing.

We won’t be visiting this lounge again.

Much prefer the one in North Terminal

Not happy with this lounge, only reason it gets 3 stars still is that its still a lounge and much quieter than the airport.
You get a menu and they offer you one plate, which they seem to begrudgingly give you in the first place, after they take your menu to ensure you can have nothing else. They have a drab selection of pastries which seemed to be have been out for far too long in my opinion.
In North breakfast and lunch are the only times I have been and they have both been buffet, this just seemed a bit stingy.

Hello Bryonya, Thank you for your comments, I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy our lounge in the South Terminal as much as the one in the North. We welcome guests in the South terminal to chose a light bite from the menu as well having unlimited access to the foods on the pantry table. The pastries for our breakfast selection are delivered fresh each morning but I will pass your comments to our food and beverage team. Next time you are travelling through Gatwick you may want to try our Clubrooms lounge. This is our premium lounge for guests aged 12 years and offer. This lounge offers hosted table service and hot and cold seasonal dishes which you can chose from the menu. I do hope we can welcome you back to one of our lounges in the future. Kind regards Abi

Not worth it...

We have never used the lounges in Gatwick before. Heathrow many times qutar is awesome. Ba great.
Looked at the web site and made a big mistake...
Booked here and I'm here as I write.
Very limited hot food and also very poor when it arrives.
Coffee is not great
If you love coffee please don't drink it here ...
The pastries are not good either
Apple juice poor
Seating is ok first impression is good .. then you settle in and realize you have made a mistake..
This is actually worse than the business lounge at Stansted airport.
So all in all expencive view of the runway. With poor quality food staff just dump food in front of you.
Wouldn't say rude as they just don't interact.. marks out of 10... 3.5

I'm surprised to read so many negative reviews of this lovely lounge. I had a heavily delayed flight recently, so spent a fair bit of time here. There's a small hot dish brought to you by a waiter supplemented by a large buffet in the main room. The lounge has lots of different areas, including a quiet zone and great runway views.

The bar in my view was the star of the show - brilliant selection of drinks including an especially wide range of gins. I recommend the mulberry gin. Great, attentive barman.

I used LoungeKey to get in, and I know not everyone likes the small charge to pre-book a place. I do see the argument given that we've already paid for our LoungeKey passes, but £6 for priority security and a guaranteed spot isn't too bad. It's not a massive lounge, so the alternative is to operate on a first-come-first-served basis, or to make the space overcrowded. I'm pleased that the management don't do that.

My delay was long enough that I visited the new Club Aspire lounge too, and wasn't impressed - much smaller food selection, already crowded, and with less of a view. To me the No1 lounge is on par with the (also excellent) BA lounge upstairs. It's a very civilised place to pass a few hours.
