The Atkinson is always a welcome shelter on a rainy day. There is usually something to see and a decent cafe and shop. Theatre is excellent with a good mix of shows

Lots of different exhibitions to wander around, I loved the Alice in Wonderland, Art for sale , crafty activities for children, great way to spend a few hours.

Went to see the Cilla Black and The Beatles tribute night - thoroughly enjoyable. Needed to book and the theatre is very central - on Lord Street.

The cafe is a great little place to visit with friendly staff, great coffee and in a perfect location. WiFi is free and easy to use. Perfect for a quick stop and to catch up with friends or work !

Hi Yes, there is a lift to all floors. There is full disabled access including wide doors. We daily have people in wheelchairs visit The Atkinson. There is more info on The Atkinson website as well.

Yes. The front door automatically open, we have disabled toilets and a lift to all floors. A full access statement is on our website.
