We've been here a few times now and the owners remember us and make us feel welcome - it's obvious who the regulars are! It's only small (not like the original) but the grounds are beautiful. There is a quiz to do as you go around, and we also got to count the fairies! The cafe area is small but... More

Walked round the site after being given a little quiz to do on the way round with the chance of winning High Street vouchers. Great for the young and not so young easy walking and plenty of benches to rest on.Several model trains running round the village. When you finish there is a small cafe for refreshment and souvenirs.

Lovely hour spent in the village. My Daughter loved filling out the quiz sheet and counting the fairy’s, the husband secretly checking out the trains, the highlight for me was the new born baby chicks following mum around.

My partner and I loved this place. We both like model villages etc and this one is a treat. It is very well maintained. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the trains going round. There is also a café and toilets. We did the quiz which was fun and when you hand the quiz in at the end, you... More

Pleasant little stop off where you basically wander around a little mini railway village. Some fantastic detail has went into the buildings and it's aesthetically pleasing. Other than that it is fairly boring as to be honest you can actually wander round it in 5 minutes. What saves it is the fact that you have the opportunity to do a... More

Had a lovely time visiting the model village. Lovely setting, well thought out. Little touches made it special. We did a little quiz going round we both found fun ( we both adults!) this is a must to go and see for both adults and children. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The Model Railway Village is a chance to revisit a slower and gentler kind of holiday atraction steept in the past. The attraction is a little gem that is beautifully laid out with lovely models amidst a garden with miniature trees and of coarse the modal trains. Perfect for train enthusiastic, older generation and a must for young families visiting.... More
