Booked on the 4 hour sea fishing trip rather than the 90min mackerel trips which did seem very tourist focused.
The weather was great, the skipper very engaging and the fishing gear seemed in a reasonable condition.
The first few stops were to top up on fresh bait and I think we did this maybe 4 times in all, unfortunately very little was caught maybe 2-3 small fish between the 12 of us on the boat. We then went to the main fishing area (mussel farm?) but again it there was very little caught. One chap caught a 2-3ft tope and a few small dogfish were brought in but most of us didn't even have a nibble.
So although the fishing results were poor it was a lovely day out in the sun and had the opportunity to chat to a few others on the boat (Trinity 2) as well.

Family of 9 of us decided to try a Mackerel
Fishing trip. Booked at the kiosk on the harbour for a hour and a half trip on Triton 2 , which was a large catamaran . The whole trip was very well organised from David in the kiosk to Nigel the skipper of the Boat made it a real holiday experience. The boat was clean and well presented and we caught Makerel, Gunard,
and a bass, which we took back to the barbecue. We were so impressed 4 of us went back and did a 4hr deap sea trip and although the weather wasn't as good it took nothing away from the experience .
I would definitely recommend to any body visiting Pembrokeshire

We had a really great time and caught lots of fish despite really bad weather. The boat was big and really stable even in choppy, windy and rainy weather. The group leader gave a really good and clear demonstration of how to do it and it was very simple fishing that anyone would be able to manage including children. My partner caught 20 mackerel (lucky novice!) And I caught 15 and we took 5 home to BBQ which were very yummy. The boat stopped in 3 different spots and we got to see loads of cool jellyfish swimming past. The guy running the trip was so helpful and really chatty and friendly and made the whole trip really happy and relaxed. He was very helpful taking my partner's fish off the hook every time as she was nervous of touching the fish and getting caught on the hooks. This trip really brightened up what could have been a very rainy miserable day and made it feel adventure full, super fun and was a great treat for a fresh water fisherman like myself.

Easy to book with David. We went for a 90 minute sea fishing trip with 4 children (youngest was 7). Skipper looked after us and boat was spotless.
First spot was a bit quiet, but the skipper moved us to another spot where we caught lots of mackerel.
The kids loved it and were soon using their own fishing rod rather than sharing with an adult!
Thanks for a memorable morning in Tenby!

A 1.5 hour experience for £20 each. A nice 15 minute sail over to the fishing spots. Disappointingly, on that day, no one on the boat caught any mackerel, only joeys. Too small for us to take home but the captain kept himself for bait.
Kids and I still enjoyed it but with 45 minutes sailing time (we tried 3 different spots that day for a bite) and demo etc, your rod isn’t in the water for too long. A 2-2.5 hour trip would be better.
Kids disappointed they didn’t return home with a fish or two.

Nigel, the boat captain is brilliant, really easy going, very friendly and great company.
We caught Tope,Dogfish and Mackerel. Lots of Dogfish.
Nigel let the boy have a go at steering the boat.
Great Craic,well worth a trip

Me and my 7 and 9 year old children, went on one of there sea fishing trips. My younger childs line snapped on weeds below the sea. I apologised to the owner for the accident, he went in a mad rage shouting and swearing in front of my children, and refused to allow us all to fish. If you have kids, do not go on this trip.

I had been looking forward to trying out fishing ever since booking a week away in Tenby and I was totally disappointed! All advertising suggested that trips happen daily, however, (as I was so keen) I rang up to book before my week long trip began and was 'pencilled' in for the Thursday. All this meant was that if they got more interest in a trip they would call me (they need at least 6 people I think). So, we visited the booth in Tenby a few times, but it was always closed up, and I called them again the day before to check if there was any possibility of going and they said they would ring me back. Thursday came and went and I didn't get a call back. I am nost annoyed with the way I was treated as I feel that if they had been more honest with me I would have tried to make other arrangements. Their excuse is probably that it was the down season, being September, but all of the local towns I visited seemed to be thronging with visitors. It is little wonder they didn't get enough interest to run a single trip for a whole week if this is how they treat their customers.

Very bad experience, booked in the week for weekend of the 14th June. I was told there was a trip going out at 09.00am on Saturday and would be confirmed on Friday but no call came and they wouldn't answer their phone or respond to my text.We drove down to the harbour Saturday morning to find their cabin closed and there was no one about. Tried to call again but no response. Was informed by the coast guard that the weather was keeping all boats in till the following Tuesday. As i can appreciate the weather can be unpredictable just a short call or text would have saved our trip and expense down there. I will not be coming down to Tenby again and wouldn't recommend Triton 2 to anybody.
