Really enjoyed the art gallery and the old footage film of Tenby's history, and if you had kids, they had really made an effort to make it interactive-with hats to dress up in and things to pick up, especially in the rocks, fossils and skulls area downstairs. The sketch pad in the art gallery for visitors to sketch something was... More

This is the first time that we have visited this little gem. There is very interesting collection of items that can keep you busy for sometime. Be sure to watch the short video of the history of Tenby on the upper floor. One entry gives you a chance to visit again throughout the year.

I think places like Tenby museum should be supported by all. This is a great hidden gem on a rainy day or an escape from the crowds.

Ideal for a day when the weather might not be so pleasant and you are walking around Tenby. There is a coffee 'shop' too so you could spend about an hour here, more if you are an art lover and especially if you have an interest in the work of Augustus John or his sister Gwen.

Wondered whether it would be worth £4.95 to look around, but it was a fascinating musuem and art gallery and money worth spent (also supporting a non-local authority local museum). Interesting video of how Tenby progressed as a holiday resort. Could hav edone with loinger to explore it all.

Well worth a visit. A well presented tribute to the geographical history of Tenby and the surrounding area as well as to civic and cultural history. It also provides thoughtful interaction for children. There is some interesting work in the Art Gallery but it is rather hogged by the work of a number of generations of one particular local family,... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to the museum. We are glad that you enjoyed the history of Tenby and the interactive material to encourage children. With regards to the art gallery, the Knapp-Fisher family show is one of our many temporary exhibitions that we hold in that particular gallery and this is finishing on Sunday... More

Personally I found the top floor the most interesting part focusing on WW2, how St Catherine's looked as a house and an overall history of Tenby. If you wnat background on Tenby this would be the best place to start. Personally the Art galley did nothing for me and we could not believe the price of some of the modern... More

Thank you for your review of the museum and we are glad that you enjoyed learning about the history of Tenby as well as WWI in the two upper galleries. The town has a huge history and the gallery features some of the most important points in the town's changing fortunes and development. We have changing art shows every six... More

There are many works of art and artefacts linking to the towns unique history that can spark interest . I do feel more could be done in certain areas such as the pirate jail to make It look less gimmicky and more respectful to the history. Maybe people could be stationed at each area who could verbally talk to guests... More

Thank you for taking time to review your visit to the museum and we are glad that you found your visit interesting. With regards to your suggestion for having people stationed at certain points to talk to guests, we are a mainly voluntary run organisation and so this is not something that we could feasibly achieve. We do, upon request... More
