2 wonderful volunteers open the church on a Wednesday for people to access. This was the first local church we'd been in for 5 months of lockdown. I thank God for the kindness of the people giving their time to open the church.

I loved our visit to this church, it is beautiful. We were lucky that there were no tourists in there - it was quiet and peaceful.

Right in the heart of Tenby town, and largely ignored by the thousands of tourists that pack the place, stands this proud and handsome church. They are missing a treat. The interior is simply stunning, with a light and airy feel, very unlike other, more sombre places of worship. On the left side is St. Thomas's chapel in which one former mayor, Thomas White is interred, along with his ' good wife', Margaret Medlar, who died in childbirth delivering her 11th st the age of only 30! Seven of her children survived and the four girls and three boys are kneeling at her feet, with Tom at his prayers above. The main chancel has a wagon roof, and there are some interesting ceiling bosses including that of a mermaid, another of the green man. A other interesting corner celebrates Richard Recorde, who is credited with the equals sign, = , which is universally used in mathematics. The above Thomas White is also said to have concealed the teenage Henry Tudor and helped him escape from Richard 3rd to France. He returned later, raised an army and defeated Richard, last of the Plantagenets, at Bosworth to found the Tudor dynasty. Interesting church and we'll worth visiting.

The pews are stained white which gives it a light, lovely atmosphere. It felt so different to other churches I have been in.

I enjoyed visiting this church. It's quite different from most and feels very welcoming. I lit candles to remember those who are no longer with us. Lovely

A very interesting historical church ~ the largest parish Church in Wales and should not be missed on any visit to Tenby.
An excellent venue to hear Tenby Male Choir, as the acoustics are so good.

Located on the main street in Tenby this very historic church is well worth a visit. Inside there are beautiful stain glass windows and you will find details of the history of the church.

What a beautiful Church with fantastic grounds to walk around. Most people were eating lunch crowded on the benches at the front of the church but if you go through the church around the back there are plenty of beautiful spots to eat your packed lunch.
