Recently been on a holiday to Devon. Myself and a friend had been driving round looking for a course to play and we found this, firstly shocked at the price, but incredible views, and fantastic well maintained course!!! Gentleman behind the counter was helpful and friendly!! Very hilly and a long course so would recommended a buggy

We were on holiday on the area and fancied a round so headed to the club. The members were all very welcoming and friendly, the staff gave us some good tips and we headed out. The course has stunning views, is very challenging and the greens are in superb condition. All in all a really great experience. The course is... More

My wife and I regularly visit Ilfracombe Golf Club, not for the Golf, but for the best breakfast and Sunday lunches with the best views in Devon. Ilfracombe Golf Club has without doubt the best restaurant views possible situated on top of a hill looking out over the cliffs to Wales across the channel. The full English breakfast is both... Very accomodating personnel. Great views, jolly golf. Just had 1 twilight round there, plenty of time to fit in 18 before dark. Bar busy, a match had just finished, look forward to playing it again.

on a golf trip in July with my 16 year old son (he plays off 3) Played both saunton courses and Burnham and berrow but inbetween played Ilfracombe. Lovely course with great views and as others have said a very unusual start with a 5 3 3 3 5 5 first 6 holes. Was a great course to play and... More

My partner recently played golf here and said the views are breathtaking and the meal afterwards was just lovely with extensive menu. Staff extremely helpful.

A course that's in good condition. Not long, but tricky; especially when the wind blows. It's a friendly club, a warm welcome waits. The greens are well maintained. There is rarely a flat lie, And the views are stunning...you see the sea from every hole. Worth a visit.

A pretty challenging course, especially when the wind is up. Very beautiful views, especially from the first 6 holes. Unfortunately, the course layout is not to my preferences, as it starts par 5, 3, 3, 3, 5, 3 - as weird a layout as any I've seen. There is also one hole which requires you to walk back up the... I liked the views and challenges of the course but not so enjoyable as it's very sloppy throughout the course

Whilst I am not a "Golfing Enthusiast" my wife Inge and I have often eaten at the Ilfracombe Golf Club. Their Sunday lunch gives a very wide choice of "carvery meats" and vegetables and yes one should book beforehand. We have always found their Sunday lunches popular and their caterer/chef Dean Richardson and staff always make everyone most welcome. Their... More
