We were a large family and wanted 10 sunbeds together. Steve and his lovely wife were very obliging, helping us to get settled, putting up umbrellas and windbreaks. Othing was too much trouble, Steve gave his number to us as we were a large group and said to ring if we wanted to go onto the beach again and he would set up our sunbeds etc for us. We took him up on the offer twice more, and on each occasion everything was ready for us. The sunbeds were just £4 per day, and we had a prime location right at the edge of the water come high tide. The beds were sprayed and sanitised according to the current regulations, and sanitiser was at his hut should you wish to use it. We would recommend this area of Sandown beach to anybody - close to the beach cafe, the gift shop and toilets. Can't thank Steve enough, or recommend his service highly enough. Thank you Steve

If you want amazing service with a smile everyday then Steve’s Beach is the place to be! A very clean beach and equipment that is very well presented.
Great prices, very polite and friendly people nothing is ever too much trouble and they will always give you a helping hand if needed.
There is even buckets and spades that children can use for FREE while they are on the beach!
Cannot recommend it highly enough we return year after year and they never fail we definitely would not go anywhere else.
They let you get settled before they take payment and aren’t pushy.
They also take card payment which is very helpful,
they have everything you could want and more!!

Fantastic experience at Steve's Bech, Steve is a great guy who can't do enough for you. We hired a beach hut for 3 days which was just perfect, comes with 2 deck chairs, a kettle and stove and plenty of water, sunbeds are also available if you want them.
The icing on the cake was that Steve was happy for us to keep the hut even after he had gone home on our last day so it effectively gave us another day of holiday as we had a secure location to store our luggage after we had booked out of the hotel.
Thanks Steve, we'll be back.

I decided on a whim to visit IOW (Sandown) for the first time. What a lovely little gem this place is!
We stayed at the Sandringham Hotel (another review to follow.....)
Over the road is the friendliest, kindest chap who, along with his helpers, cannot do enough for you, re hiring a sunbed, parasol, beach hut, wind breaker etc.
After the first day, it was arranged for the next day, how many beds, where your preferred place on the beach is etc. All the hassle of sorting these things out on the day is taken away by Steve. He arranges the lot for you, at an unbelievable price, which I’ll come on to....
His knowledge, charm, wit, expertise and, above all else, friendliness never lets up, from his early arrival at approx 5.30am until roughly 12 hours later when he closes for a well deserved break, only to do it all again the next day.
Steve has a rare quality in a human In that he makes you feel like he’s a long lost friend. He really does a fantastic job and is a credit to the job he loves and to the island/resort as a whole.
If you do plan on visiting Sandown, do yourself a favour and pay Steve’s Beach a visit. The guy deserves your custom. He’s that good.
Regards his pricing: I, like many, love a bargain, but when I’m on a holiday, don’t mind paying for certain things. Namely, comfort on the beach with a sunbed etc.
I was truly amazed at how relatively cheap the hire of goods were. £4 for a sunbed all day, £2 a parasol.
I know when I’ve been to Mallorca, you’re talking about £4 or equivalent per bed plus same again for a parasol (without the personal service of someone like Steve)
Again, his pricing is a plus in my book.
So, give this chap a chance, his season is quite short due to Covid this year. His business deserves to flourish.

We rocked up hoping to nab a beach hut that were, unfortunately, sold out, however Steve said we could have some loungers and also threw in the parasol FOC, we got chatting about buckets and spades and lent us some of those too!
Whilst disappointed not to have a beach hut, which, due to CV19 restrictions, meant he could only offer every other one he had to maintain social distancing, Steve and his Mrs bent over backwards to make our stay on the beach enjoyable and fun, I cannot recommend Steve's beach enough, call him to reserve a hut, while we were there he built an extra 3, all also socially distant space too.
Cracking service, great pricing, they really couldn't do enough for us.

100% Recommend! Such a lovely experience for a day out at the beach! Steve and Fran went above and beyond to make it nice for my young ones first birthday 🎂 beautifully presented and all buckets and spades provided. It was great for everyone!
The extra touches put smiles on everybody's faces, they provided drinks, balloons and banners/flag!
My favourite was the number 1 banner which we was given to keep and photo taken of the day to treasure as a memory!
Friendly service and good price! If you want a beach day! Do it... rent one of these!

We have used Steve’s beach huts today, we hired 10 sun loungers, a beach hit and 3 parasols. All were set up ready for us, as we booked them the day before. Nothing is too much trouble and a very friendly welcome. As soon as we left, the loungers and beach hut were sanitised. Steve also has a pressure washer in his van that he uses to jet wash everything at night. We have been returning to here for 8 years and wouldn’t use anyone else.

£5 for loungers, £4 for deckchairs, £3 for parasols, £3 for windbreakers and you can hire beach huts for £25 a day.
Perfectly places near cafes and amenities on soft, golden sand the chairs and loungers are already set out for you when you arrive. The staff are friendly and you can pay by card.
The only problem is you are charged for a wind break even if you don’t want or need one.

We had a lovely day at Steve's beach. Steve and Bryan are so friendly and welcoming, we called ahead and reserved a beach hut and it was worth every penny. We paid £25 for the day, were able to park right next to it as we arrived early and felt really safe. The huts are close together but they weren't all being used due to distancing, and each family were separated by a windbreaker. We had hut 6 on the end and had loads of room Infront. As soon as people left Bryan was clearing up and clearing. The hut we had came with three topped deckchairs, some water and a little electric stove plus kettle. We didn't use it but if you were tea drinkers it would be fab. The area is cordoned off so you know you won't have people walking close to you and it was a short walk to the sea. The best thing was being able to change before leaving in the hut, plus of course being able to escape the sun if you wanted and keep things cool. Cannot recommend highly enough. What a wonderful place on the beach! We paid £16 for 4 sun loungers with wind breakers in a prime location on the beautiful beach. The owners (a couple) could not have been nicer, offering to keep an eye on our things if we wanted to go in the sea. Definitely recommend!

Just head down to the beach near the Sandown pier. There’s a fair bit of parking on the front but you’d have to be early. The guys walk along the beach taking the money for beds and umbrellas etc. I’m sure they would be able to help. Look for beds with the shades on top.
