Our five year old loves running amongst the vines and up and down the hills. We loved tasting some of the wines. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and drink were delicious. We didn't stay too long, but bought some great wine and dipping sauces.

What more could one want? Rows of beautiful vines on a hillside above a neat cabin selling great wine with views as far as the English Channel. The owners of this superb vineyard have done a fantastic job of creating a lovely little attraction. The whole operation seems endearingly homespun and small-scale but is none the worse for that. The... More

When we first arrived we went in the cafe which had a selection of snacks, sandwiches, cakes, hot food and drinks. We sat outside which was lovely and peaceful with music playing. The staff were very helpful. There was an audio tour available for £7.50 however we chose to walk around without it. The vineyards were very tidy and there... More

A thoroughly intimate and beautiful setting, slightly off the beaten track. Needless to say, i left with two bottles of wine and some coffee liqueur. The staff members (2 ladies) were so professional and utterly charming, with clear knowledge of the product they were selling. There was no push to buy anything, it was an all round lovely late-afternoon visit!

Lovely vineyard and shop. Purchased some delicious dipping sauce, wines and liqueurs. Reasonably priced. The only shame was that we felt slightly uncomfortable when asking to try the liqueurs. When we asked to try one we were given just one drop, the amount was fine for one but when we asked for another drop we got the response "oh, you... More

I only popped in as was looking for a bottle of red wine for my Dad the place looked beautiful very clean, I bought a lovely bottle of red made on the island and I bought a wooden box for it to go in. It looks smart I just hope it tastes as good. :-)

It was lovely to sit outdoors overlooking the vines with a good glass of dry white wine yesterday, the hottest day! Well organized vineyard and good wines. Cafe service a little on the slow side.

We stayed for two nights over a weekend in August, and enjoyed it so much we promised ourselves we will return in the future. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Russell, the owner, and made to feel very welcome. He remembered that my partner is a vegetarian and asked her what she would like for breakfast as he would... This afternoon we had the pleasure of visiting this vineyard. Great education for adults with fun treasure hunt for the children to keep them entertained while we learnt. Good tasting afterwards and a lovely afternoon spent enjoying some of the wonderful wine they produce. Highly recommend

Adgestone Vineyard is tucked away in the hills and at the height of the vineyard, there are stunning views of the island and the bays of Sandown and Shanklin. Tours are self-guided audio tours, which do cost £7.50 each, but we found it to be very interesting and informative. The tour around the vineyard and cellars is followed up by... More
