Hotpotz is a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio where customers can come and paint ceramics, which are then kiln fired and collected a week later. We also have refreshments and other craft activities on offer

We took out three granddaughters aged 10 6 and 2 to Hotpotz this week, we were met and made very welcome by the new owners Lisa and Louise.
The girls had a fabulous morning painting their owl and unicorns, while we enjoyed a coffee. The roomy two storey building and facilities were spotless warm and comfortable.
The girls are planning their next trip already, thanks for a superb experience.

We took all our grand children for a new challange and we were not let down, the girls were fantastic at entertaining the kids ,the grandchildren are so looking forward to there next visit to hotpots,great day thank you girls see you soon.

I've been here a few times with my toddler now and she thoroughly enjoys each visit. Staff are excellent, friendly and always willing to lend a hand, but will equally leave you to get on with it if no help is required. You can create anything from mugs to animals to Christmas decorations (time if year dependant!) To plant pots to plates etc.
Hand print and footprints etc are also provided with help from staff.
Our recent visit was with friends and I've never seen the three girls (aged 3) so quiet and full of concentration! They all really enjoyed being allowed the freedom to create what they want. Staff are more than willing to add names and dates painted etc before firing the ceramics at no additional cost.
You pick up your finished products the following week.
I look forward to returning for years and years as my daughter grows up.

Fantastic pottery painting studio, recommended by friends. Great selection of reasonably priced blank pottery to paint for little ones and grown ups alike, there is no limit to what you can create, whatever your age or ability! Finished items can be picked up a week later glazed and fired to last a lifetime. Staff are absolutely lovely, so patient and helpful with tips and tricks, always willing to give a helping hand when asked. Great place for kids' parties or just a day out with friends and family. We will definitely be going again and again. Thanks!

We never tire of visiting the BEST pottery painting studio around. The choice of what to paint is fabulous ( and reasonably priced too!), the staff are patient, friendly and so helpful and they even do wonderful coffee.
A great place for adults or children and a perfect party venue. I even have staff meetings there on a Tuesday night sometimes to 'chill'.
Sarah is delightful and so creative.

Came here for a hen do,on Saturday 26th March, booked it in advance, had a table upstairs, the ladies that worked there were fantastic, couldn't do enough for us, we took some prosecco, everyone in our party, 8 of us loved it, would highly recommend this place,

Having found out Hotpotz was under new ownership I just knew I needed to go and find out what all the fuss was about. I was not disappointed!!
The two girls were so accommodating and were fantastic with my 2 week old baby. I came away with two beautiful heart shaped plaques with painted prints on. I also got imprints done. These took 6 weeks to complete but the wait was so worth it. They are so beautifully done. Something I will be able to keep forever.
Whilst I was there I noticed many families enjoying quality time together whilst painting different ornaments. What a lovely place - I will be back! Thank you.

What a disappointing experience. I went with my 2 children on a Saturday expecting it to be busy but there was a table free. However, that's when the problem started. I was foolish enough to have a pushchair and was made to feel like that was far too much of an inconvenience. One member of staff spoke to us in an abrupt manner insisting she had to sit at a particular seat and made me feel like we were in the wrong to be in the place with a young child. We chose our decoration to paint but the staff were slow to bring us the equipment were incredibly short with me when I asked for a pallette and for them to go over the instructions. I found every member of staff to be blunt at best; rude if I'm honest. The poor people who were unfortunate enough to ask where the party room was were greeted with curt responses or a sarcastic 'the sign above the door might give you a clue'! If it hadn't have been for my little boy desperately wanting to make something for Christmas, we would have left without making a purchase and I would have spoken up about the attitude of the staff. The decoration had better be worth the cost and putting up with the feeling of intruding and being an inconvenience for taking a young child to a family place.

Visited today with a group of adults with learning disabilities, we were made to feel very welcome and given everything we needed to create unique pieces that will mean so very much to them on collection.The staff were very helpful and offered advice and spent time getting to know our clients, but also left us to our own devices so everyone created something special to them in their own time. This wasn't our first visit and we will certainly be back, weekdays seem like a good time to go as it was quite quiet and we felt comfortable taking as long as we needed, without feeling rushed.

Went to Hotpotz on 27.10.20 with my 11 year son, both the ladies were extremely helpful and patient. We had such a good time we went again this morning! We can't wait to go back
