Decided to visit for lunch with two friend as place is under new management. Menu varied and reasonably priced. The staff were courteous polite and welcoming. Waited a while for our order to arrive but worth it. Will visit again.
Just nipped in for a quick pint here. Very warm welcome. Ale in perfect condition and large drinks choice in general. Plenty of room as not many customers which is a shame. Perhaps if it had a refurb it would attract more customers in.
On a wet, rainy afternoon,this was a really nice place. It's an old fashioned British pub, with wood-panelled walls, cosy seating, lots of beer choice, pork scratchings, friendly service and sports on TV. Lovely place to spend a couple of hours.
