Came here with our 3 year grand daughter because our normal pool at cramlington is closed. All I can say is what miserable staff they have on reception and it's too expensive.£6.50 for an adult and it's only £4 at cramlington. Needless to say we...More

I bring my children here every Saturday as they love the wave machine. I’ve been coming here since the 70s when I was a small child. A shame the diving pool is gone but the slide is good. Sometimes they get all of the floats...More

This pool is decent but there is one lane that you could properly swim in. This leisure pool has 2 pools. The water slide is fast. There is a bit for kids too. The changing rooms are ok.

I haven’t given 5 stars, only because of the lack of floats and play equipment for the little ones. Parking can be difficult if not there early.

This pool is not really for swimming it’s for play although it does have 1 swimming lane. A fun, bumpy, fast water slide where you can race. It also has a little children pool where you play and there is another pool for older children...More

Nice clean pool and facilities, but why, oh why do these local authority run places insist on putting their most miserable and grumpy staff members front of house right at the customer's point of contact? On this, my first visit, this particularly delightful (sic), 'mature'...More

A nice pool with shallow area for little ones and good water slides. The waves are good fun. The interior of the building is beginning to look a bit sad and could do with a refurb. Parking can be difficult. It appears that people using...More

I’m assuming Waves is known as ‘Waves’ because of its popular wave machine function. On Saturday 3rd November the wave machine was out of order, as to were the slides and water shoots. Not much fun for the kids at all.

Hi yes there is a separate pool, it usually has inflatables for small children but recommend you take your own for a baby, there are small toys as well. Double check times as there are swimming lessons on in term time.

There is a small area to sit accessed next to the cafe. If you’re accompanying a child there is also seating around the smaller pool.

Depends where you're coming from! I know for sure that the 309 stops right outside if you're coming from the direction of Blyth or Newcastle via the coast road.
