Handsome house, available for visiting only by guided tour. Sadly very few historic paintings or little furniture, mostly mid 20th century family belongings. Attractive flat garden with fine trees. Popular cafe.

called in for tea – far better value than that offered at Highgrove! Lovely courtyard if the weather is fine, otherwise inside is spacious. A good range of cakes etc. A look around the garden would have been good (chargeable), but we didn't have time

Visited in May and it was beautiful. Lots of flowers, shrubs and trees. Nice tea room, but it does get busy. Relaxed for a couple of hours in the sunshine in the gardens.
