Good for a stroll

Peel has its own charm. The marina is busy and nice to see the boats day or night. It is not just the marina that makes it special. There are some great restaurants around. There are also coastal walks and Peel hill nearby. Enjoy!

Small unassuming place with a nice little soft sand beach, cafe pubs and an ice cream parlour, you need no more

Pleasant area

The marina has the castle on one side and the town on the other. It is a clean and pleasant area with cafes and restaurants along with museums and other things.

Lovely small harbour

The area around the marina is quiet and is ideal for a pleasant walk or to enjoy a coffee and view the comings and goings

Lovely Harbour that reflects the benefits of not being an EU Member.
Sep 2019
My wife and myself visited Peel yesterday and Harbour - with the Castle in the background - is one of the key attractions.

What impressed me the most was to see so many working fishing boats in the Harbour which made me seriously doubt if this would have been the case if the Isle of Man was part of the UK and part of the EU. A salutary lesson which I’m sure is not lost on other fishing communities throughout the UK!

Nice Walk
Aug 2019
Nice walk along the promenade. Lovely sandy beach. Continue on and walk around the outside of the castle then down the quay to the museum. Lovely day out.

A beautiful town a beautiful day

Peel is the jewel in the isle of man's west coast, the marina is beautiful overlooked by the magnificent Peel castle and surrounded by the Irish sea. The beach is family friendly clean and sandy, coffee stalls are situated along the beach front, and lovely pubs and restaurants along the harbour side an excellent all round resort

Lovely harbour
Jul 2019 • Couples
I hadn’t visited Peel since I was a boy but it still unspoiled offering a beautiful well kept beach which had been recently swept on our visit. The castle dominates the harbour and it’s also got a true working harbour with lots of boats to be seen. Peel doesn’t offer a lot of shops, but it’s quaint and well worth a short visit and some lovely cafe/restaurants
