Ged Power served as a police officer on the Island for 25 years and has a wealth of stories, anecdotes and tales. In addition to that, he has represented his local area in politics and was voted in as the town's Chairman of Commissioners. Ged is also a keen amateur dramatic enthusiast and has written/created a wealth of media in writing and film.<br>Your tour won't be dull with this interesting character who has a wicked sense of humour and yes.....he does know everybody!

Peel is a lovely, small town with an impressive museum . It tells the Viking history of the Isle of Man through stories. Great for adults and children. It also has some later history about the fishing industry and the Steam Packet. Multi sensory and fascinating. What a great little place.

This museum is one of the best we've ever visited. It was really interesting with lots of displays with mannequins showing different scenes, interesting stories in short videos and was a lot bigger than we anticipated. We also bought a TT badge for £10 each which allowed us free access into lots of other museums etc. fantastic value. We would definitely recommend. They also have a nice cafe with a variety of cakes including a gluten free option.

Our National Trust membership allowed us free admission to the museum was an unexpected bonus, but overall the museum was one of the best I've ever visited. The displays bring to life the history of the island and the whole experience is captivating and imaginatively put together. If you only visit one attraction on the Isle of Man, this should be it!

The museum is really interesting with lots of small, themed rooms. It is bigger than it looks and we had an interesting time learning more about the Isle of Man. Peel is lovely, so if you have time, do visit Peel and the House of Manannan.

We enjoyed our visit, well laid out and easy to follow from room to room. It was very quiet when we visited, only saw 2 other people. I found the entrance fee to be a bit expensive, there was no reduction for seniors. It is a nice building from the outside and the interactive exhibits were very interesting.
