We couldn’t walk through much of the glen as it was closed. What we saw was lovely. We walked down the road parallel to the path to get to the sea where there is a small quiet beach.

Waterfall in full spate !
Nov 2020
One of the most beautiful glens in IOM so took opportunity to see the waterfall in full spate this weekend whilst staying in Peel for the night. Lovely walk in the glen and down to the beach and good parking.

A Must visit to Glen Maye
Nov 2019 • Friends
En route around the Island with our pal Neil who lives and works here he stopped off at Glen Maye which I had never heard of. What a stunning place. From the car park only a short walk to the steps that work their way slowly downhill to a small wooden bridge where you can take great shots of the gushing water cascading down through the Gulley.
At present there are lots of leaves so be careful walking down the steps as it’s quite sloppy. There are great photo opportunities all down the steps. A must visit if your on the island. There are many other Glens which I will definitely visit on my return..

Stunning
Jun 2019
Take a drive from Peel to Glen Maye and in the right hand side you come across a car park. Park up and head to the Glen, following the sound of the water, you will be amazed at what you find. Best day to go is when the sun is out and shining on the waterfall. Absolutely stunninh

Excellent Walk
Nov 2019 • Couples
A lovely walk along a beautiful Glen. There's 2 ways you can walk, lower or upper level. A fantastic waterfall along the way. The great sound of rushing water. At the end of the walk is a lovely beach with good views. Worth a walk.

Beautiful
Oct 2019 • Couples
This is a beautiful glen, it starts with a fairly high waterfall, you have a choice of two walks, upper and lower, and you end up at a beautiful beach. There's also a large car park at the start of the walk. You won't regret visiting.

Fabulous!
Aug 2019
My wife and I had a lovely walk through the glen from the car park at the top right down to the beach. Fabulous scenery including the waterfall, flowers, butterflies and bees.
Quite a lot of steps downwards towards the beach so we walked back up via the road

More amazing scenery on the Isle of Man

We didn't have enough time to do the whole walk so we just went to the waterfall and back. The path is well made with bridges crossing the valley. The sound of the waterfall and it's location is definitely worth seeing and it's not that far from the car park.

A pretty walk
Aug 2018
Do this on a sunny day! Pretty waterfall and easy paths to follow down to the beach. Imagine it could be slippy in the rain.

Beautiful and relaxing.
Jun 2018 • Friends
I've visited this glen many times. It is scenic and relaxing, with a fabulous waterfall, though returning visitors should be aware that the pub/restaurant (The Waterfall) at the entrance to the glen has sadly closed.
