Such an amazing theatre and so well maintained. We always try to see a show here when we visit the island, as much to see the theatre itself as a show. The interior is not to be missed.

I attended one of the regular Saturday morning theatre tours of the beautifully restored Gaiety Theatre. This stunning Victorian theatre was designed by Frank Matcham, a leading theatre architect of his day. Leading the tour was Mike and his enthusiasm and love of the building...More

We also saw the interesting costume display and theatre memorabilia together with the projectionists room. This is...More

I took a group of elderly people to watch the pantomime. One lady was in a wheelchair. The staff couldn't do enough to help + assist us to make sure we were comfortable + we had use of the disabled facilities

We went to the Cinema that is part of this complex, right by the park on the sea front. The seats are wonderfully comfortable and the film we watched was 2 hrs and I didn't have to move about at all, which normally I do....More

I visited during the festival where different amateur groups are brave enough to be judged on the quality of their productions. The theatre was lovely - a real jewel box of the place, and the atmosphere great, with people really into their drama and a...More

I found the venue comfortable and quite a nice sized auditorium. I went to see Nigel Farage, a man who's politics I do not agree with but find entertaining, all the same. Pleasantly surprised by the seating etc.

For an excellent entertainment venue, you could not find a quainter old fashioned place. The interior harks back to a more opulent age, when theatre going was more for the masses, and not for the select few. Don't get me wrong though, The Gaiety gives...More
