We bought 3 day bus and train passes when we arrived at the airport for £34 each. They are excellent value and covered all travel whilst we were on the Island. We used them multiple times and enjoyed steam train, electric train and horse drawn tram journeys. We also used them on the bus services. The transport network on the... More

Well worth the trip and very useful as a way of getting around the island, The trains are superb and the views fantastic but the best thing has to be the simple experience,

The best way to travel round the IOM and see everything is by public transport. The service is amazing

Unless you are a steam buff, this is rather a lack-lustre experience as so much of the journey is through cuttings you see little of the landscape.

The good value GO card allows unlimited use of buses, trains, electric railway and horse tram but beware that all but the buses are seasonal.

They have an inside carriage if it is cold. Great fun for holiday travel. All staff extremely polite and helpful. Good value for money.

Really lovely stream train trip, quite expensive for a return journey but worth the ride for the lovely scenery. Tickets are from around £6 one way. Id advise getting a oneway journey and coming back on the bus for £2.70, especially if there is a few of you.

The Isle of Man bus service is prompt and efficient. Some services are express, country services which means there are few stops, and the frequency of the buses don't compare with city services but they are always on time and they are fast!

Bought a five day Go-Card for £41 which gave unlimited travel on ALL forms of transport. Used continually and was impressed by how punctual they were and usually good connection times as well. A lot of the buses were "double-deckers" so great for fine views. Highly recommended especially if you arrive as a "foot" passenger. Keep up the good work... More
