Lovely shady walk from the top of the Chine all the way to the beach and the pub at the bottom. Perfect for a cooling afternoon walk on a hot day

We did the day/night return so saw this at night first (going up from beach at dusk) and the lovely touch of glowing fairy stones for children and the Chine's amazing lighting and great surprising views and displays of historical nature were stimulating for young and old, especially on a balmy evening. We were staying right next to it so... More

Laughed to read another review about hiding dinosaurs here, but we actually thought that too! Or perhaps have Lord of the Rings theme? Waterfalls are pretty, paths meander and plants look strange with enormous leaves. The day and evening ticket is good value - just 80p more to return for the evening lights. Enjoyed this time more as was very... More

Really lovely attraction with lots of photo worthy vantage points - I imagine all the local brides flock to the place for romantic shots of with the backgrounds! Lots of lovely little bridges meandering through a wooded glade and some real structurally beautiful plants on the lower walk. We are heading back tonight to see the area lit up at... More

We decided to good up the chine early one evening and enjoyed it very much. We've been to isle of wight quite a few times but never done it before.

Lovely little hideaway just off of the beach. Lots and lots of steep steps - so thankful for the cool shading that the Forna offered that day! Alas, we didn't go late enough for the lights to go on but found it pretty and tranquil enough. Pricing was probably about right for a family ticket. Missed a trick by not... More

We love this place. We try to go in the day and a separate visit in the evening. It's beautiful and calm. In the evening it is all lit up in different colours. The views looking out to the beach and sea are lovely. There is a charge but they are reasonable.

Went at night to see the lit up flora and fauna. I have also visited during the day, so wanted to see how different it was at night. To be honest, not a great deal of difference. It was a pleasant enough walk for my partner and I. After reaching the waterfall, we turned around and went back. We were... More

The garden during the daylight was incredible with great views of the beach. But at night they have coloured lights which brighten up the gardens, and it is so beautiful to see. Would definitely recommend to people who enjoy taking photos like I do!
