We had a wonderful morning walk along "the Chine" we started at the top and strolled down to the beach and then along the promenade to a lovely little cafe for lunch

Not my cuppa.. but the wife thought it was good.. if you like walking, flowers, water.. yawn.. My kids were bored and we probably would have prefered crazy golf.

Found this to be a quaint place. The walk throu the park was very pleasant We walked along the prom to lift to find it closed so we had to climb eighty steps. No wear hardly open only cafes or pubs.

We waited until dark before visiting to be able to see the lights. It was very pretty and atmospheric. We started at the bottom and worked our way up while others started at the top. It's obviously dark but I hadn't expected it to be quite so dark, there are places where if unsteady on your feet you could loose... More

Well worth the effort of walking down and then up, although you can get a bus back once you have got to the promenade .

Visited in Spring, it was a very pleasant and uplifting walk both down, where we had light refreshments by the bird enclosure and followed by a leisurely stroll back up to the top. Would have loved to have had our grandchildren there as it would also have been educational for them. Will go back again next year hopefully with the... More
