Warning: You will need to spend quite a few hours here if you're interested in doing both museums. Visited here today as I was off work and was also always putting it off and I'm glad I went. It was £11 quid for both the Folk AND Transport museum and that's excellent price as I spent around 4 and a... More

Lots of great things to see. The old trains are fantastic along with the old buses, cars and some planes. The DeLorean was good to see also. Very enjoyable trip. Would be great for young kids.

Thought I had already done a review for here. This place I haven't been in a while but best museum out there in Northern Ireland. Kids will love the outdoor history, delving into old houses, banks, court houses and buying sweets in an old fashioned sweet shop! You will learn indoors about the titanic, old Belfast history, see old train... More

This place is great for all the family, it is well maintained with lots of things to see, from where the weavers lived to the lifestyle of the local banker. Staff are dressed in period costume and there in no doubt they are very passionate about the history that they are relaying. It was lovely to see donkey's carrying peat... More

We visited the folk museum and transport museum together on the same day as it was excellent value to buy both tickets. The folk museum was very authentic and you got a real feel for what Ulster must have been like in the olden days. The guides in the room were really informative also. The transport museum was also excellent... More

Our first visit in over 30 years! We took family visiting from Edinburgh on a busy Sunday afternoon. Despite the forecast we were blessed with warm, partly sunny weather with only a short shower during our visit. You can take dogs although they are not allowed inside any of the buildings, which is fair enough but make sure you bring... More

I have visited this attraction many times since it first opened in the 1960s. On this occasion I went with our two grandchildren (aged 7 and 5). We went to the Transport half of the operation and spent over 3h there but - such is the range of things to see and do - we didn't get beyond the cars,... More

Closed on a Monday. Educational and lovely to see all the old vehicles. Very Nostalgic. I would recommend making a day of it and visiting both the transport museum and folk park.

Took our grandson for a day out. Had a wonderful day. Policeman gave a talk in the station. Were shown how to make lace in one of the houses. In another ladies were spinning and making patchwork items. Some ladies had baked soda bread which we were able to sample and were given advice on how to bake it. The... More
