The park does look nice during the day and is quite safe I would say, but better not to be on your own there especially if female. A no go zone in the dark as druggies and alcoholics go here and also there have been a few attacks

Now, the first part, with entrance from TQ Road, has 3areas dedicated to sports: table tennis, tennis, skating and skate boarding, also a playground which is like the others, enclosures.... More

A lovely park with plenty of seats and a small lake.I go here for a walk and rest while I stay in a nearby hotel. Very close to the town centre but hidden away!

We were walking through the shops when we came across this hidden treasure. Lots of free activities were available for children from box, skateboarding, tennis, table tennis along with the usual playground equipment. We spent several hours using the facilities. A great park to visit but take your own equipment.

Close to sea front and great little children play area. The pond in need of a tidy, but swans swimming around. Box and skateboard area. Coffee stalls and ice cream. Easy access back into town

Victoria park is the first place we head to once we've dropped our bags off at the hotel... It has the main GWR line running over it and there is lawned areas on either side of the railway. There's also an enclosed kiddies play area, a multi-wheeled skate park and football pitch size green space beyond that. Several water features... More
