Victoria park is the first place we head to once we've dropped our bags off at the hotel... It has the main GWR line running over it and there is lawned areas on either side of the railway. There's also an enclosed kiddies play area, a multi-wheeled skate park and football pitch size green space beyond that. Several water features... More

This park is huge, set into sections, sadly right in the middle are fenced in tennis courts, and a noisy skate boarding bit, replete with swearing teens! This obliterates what would have been lovely views. There is a rather unkempt pond with ducks at the far end, and some lovely little streams. The Roadside end is rather muddy and bedraggled,... I live here and if I want to do a short, but pleasant walk with my dog, always good choice the Victoria Park. There are here ducks and swans, little birds, squirrels, very nice dogs, nice people. Unfortunatelly there is here the skate area and the teenagers usually leave lot of garbage (but the Torbay cleaning service clean up in... More

The park offers peace and tranquility in the middle of a large and busy town. It's network of pathways offers pedestrian access to and from guest houses and various parts of the town and the stations. It also offers facilities for young people to have fun. A very good park indeed.

A place to feed the ducks and it's also a short cut to town from the beach area. Well-kept clean green area with other facilities such as a skate park and plenty of benches, some of which are memorials dedicated to local people.
