Recent home game V St Helens was a great experience. Almost capacity crowd, all good natured, everyone there for a good time. I can walk to the ground in 30 minutes along the canal towpath. Hundreds of people doing the same as they and their forefathers have for over 100 years. A huge snake of cherry & red .. Give... More

My first time in Wigan, the stadium was a 15min walk from the train station and was well signposted. Tickets for game were very sensibly priced, stadium has decent facilities, had a great view from seat, very impressed.

Wigan Warriors always make a special effort for the Good Friday derby with St Helens. Even though it gets pretty full you can usually get a ticket. Outside there are fair type attractions for children and the usual burgers and chips . Inside pies hotdogs and drinks and snacks. Separate bars for alcohol and food. Food sells out quickly usually... I attended the Wigan v Rotherham match last Saturday where my 8 year old son was the away mascot. Forgetting about the match itself (not hard to do) the overall day was amazing and whilst I only got the perspective of an away day dad it was clear to see how Wigan have received recent recognition for how it serves... Just back from another visit at the DW stadium. Great safe venue. We visit regular for Football and have been impressed with the Staduim as a whole every time. The venue is kept exceptionally clean and tidy at all times. Loads of friendly stewards if needed. Huge amount of toilets so never really waiting long. Catering is ok - more... More

This was my first visit to see a game of Rugby League and watched the local lads - Wigan Warriors go down to Castleford Tigers. Access was easy and well organised with plenty of nearby car parking available. I didn't have to queue to go through the turnstiles and there were plenty of stewards on duty to help out if... More

I come here on a regualr basis for the football and have been multiple times for the rugby. The seats are comfertable and have plenty of room even for the larger person and there is great views from any seat. It is a standard modern build stadium with basic facilities and friendly stewards. A great stadium

Better than Springfield Park admittedly, but the stadium is nothing special. A typical new build , lacking a bit of tradition and atmosphere. Taxi ride from the town centre, although walkable if needed. Basic facilities, unobtrusive stewarding and easy to find seats and good sightlines etc. Probably better when full for the rugby

Visited Wigan's DW stadium to watch my team Aston Villa play. Parking is easy near to the ground but the town centre and retail park nearby gets very congested. The stadium itself is modern but lacks atmosphere due to the poor home support - there were probably as many away fans as home. Seats are wide and there is an... More
