Second visit to the cafe at Crook Hall and mmmmmmm.....delicious. Soup and a roll followed by cake and coffee - couldn't eat another thing! I'm looking forward to a visit to the gardens when the weather picks up, but in the meanwhile it's lovely just enjoying the comfort of this welcoming cafe.

What a lovely surprise this was. The house really fascinating and I found the different ages of the buildings very interesting. The gardens are lovely, even in February and we all loved the maze.

We joined everyone in the hall for carols, I expected at least a small choir or a piano, how wrong was I. We had 2 elves... More

Beautiful gardens every season of the year. A house with lots of history , its building spanning the centuries. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and is enhanced by quirky features everywhere. Also a good cafe to be enjoyed.

You would never know this beautiful house and gardens existed unless you follow brown signs. Was treated with three friends by another friend for helping her in her first year as a Headteacher. It was a surprise to us as to where we were going. Well on arrival we had a wonderful greeting in the cafe at the bottom of... More

My mother sister and I were given vouchers for afternoon tea here. we cannot rate the food and service high enough. For a special afternoon or an event you must try it.

I booked Crook Hall for afternoon tea for our family to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, not knowing what to expect...what an absolute hidden gem. It took a while to find the car park but once we did it was easy walking distance to the hall. We were met at the cafe and given directions to the tea rooms. They... More
