Great place to visit while in Durham. The Counts clothes are on display and the story is so interesting. Then visit the little house where he used to live by the River Wear in Durham. Plenty history in this building.
First ever visit to Durham. Magnificent Town hall with timber supported roof. Well worth a proper visit and doing the tour. I like snippets of info like Affiganistan spelt incorrectly. Will make a special journey next time. All staff proud and very helpful.
