Unfortunately we couldnt get on the boats with our 8 week old as theres no real access for prams. Only fold down prams which wasnt visable with a 8 week old. This is a real shame as we wanted to take him on the lake i think the boats should in the future look at access for prams as its... More

This is a must do trip if you are on The Lakes. There are 3 different tours at 3 prices and length of time. I opted to go up to Ambleside.70 mins return journey. £30 family ticket. A great way to see Lake Windermere. You can sit in or out side. Wrap up warm and get a brew if you... More

We had a cruise around Bowness on Saturday 25th Feb. Although the weather was terrible, the skipper made the trip brighter with his humour and knowledge of the surrounding islands and buildings. We ordered hot chocolates and were offered seats near the heaters to keep warm on a cold afternoon. Good value for money and a fun way of seeing... More

Three options various prices. Unless you are an avid sailor choose the blue line. 45 mins on any pleasure craft is long enough. Very clean and a bar with reasonable prices. Top tip, unless it's barmy hot don't sit outside on the roof. As soon as you get out in open water you will try to get a seat down... More

Went on the lakeside cruise on our last day and visited the aquarium. The boat ride was ok, information on the lake as we were passing certain places just not my cup of tea.

We decided to take out three children and dog on the red line cruise that is an hour and a bit round trip to Bowness, Ambleside and back again. It was very cold being February but it didn't dampen our spirits. What did dampen them was the lack of sympathy on board from any of the tourists towards our Irish... More

Thank you for your review of our attraction. We're sorry to hear your dog didnt enjoy the cruise especially when we welcome so many other canine friends aboard our boats for free every day who seem to love the experience! We sympathise with you but unfortunately like the weather, we cant control the attitudes of other passengers aboard our boats.... More

We a family of 4 enjoyed the blue cruise. It was a great trip. Just short of an hour and only £20. There was a bar serving coffee and beers, wine on board too! Great way to see the lake with minimum effort! Highly recommend
