This walk is short but we'll worth it. We were on the fell for 7:30am and saw the lake covered by cloud whilst we were basking in glorious sunshine which gave for an impressive view. The walk starts off with a steep incline but generally...More

We took a walk to the Brant on what we thought was a short walk that turned into 3 hours! Our map directions on the mobile phone took us through country lanes and we almost gave up. We eventually found our way and the views...More

Amazing views. I won’t spoil it with too many of our fabulous pictures but just go! ...but take a drink! And maybe a hat depending on weather. Cold and windy at the top when we went, even on a warm and sunny day.

We started the day with a coffee and an amble of the shops around Bowness. The start of this walk is literally minutes from the shops. It's not far before you are rewarded with lovely views. Note that it's quite steep with several kissing gates...More

You couldn't get to the top of the fell with any kind of pram. It's very steep and I don't think some could manage it on foot.
