It was a busy Saturday before Christmas. Our Grandchildren wanted to see Santa We were not told when we bought the ticket at 11.15 am that we would have a wait until after 2.0pm before the number was called. Hence we had to do more with significant cost and provide Lunch to entertain our grandchildren whilst we waited. A costly... More

Visited the Enchanted Forest and the Maze whilst at Stockeld Park for Christmas adventure with my niece. Tickets are expensive for what you get. The Maze is exactly what is says on the tin, a maze. Nothing too spectacular. The Enchanted Forest is pretty much just a walk through the Forrest with stop overs at around 6 different play areas... More

Day after bonfire night we took the drive over to stockeld for the fireworks spectacular and we really wasn't disappointed. By far the best fireworks we have ever seen.

I loved the winter-wonderland walk - beautiful and unique - I'm sure the whole family will love this. Wrap up in winter and go see it at night for a truly magical experience. The Christmas shop on site is amazing and well priced.

There's not much I can say about this place.....it's expensive not much to occupy your time, poor food service and miserable staff. The woodland walk is the only thing that half saved this trip. Won't be returning

We took our grandchildren before Xmas for tea and the Woodland Walk which we have been doing for the past eight years. The walk was lovely but the hot food was not. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese which must have been sat on a hot plate because the cheese had all melted and was solid. That was all... More

This place is definitely worth the visit if only for the Christmas shop. You could spend an hour in the shop browsing, handling and just enjoying seeing things a little bit different than on the high street. The prices are very reasonable too, I can recommend the Enchanted Forest Walk, everywhere is lit by fairy lights and there little surprises... More

A great place with young children. Enchanted forest, ski trail, ice skating and maze. Christmas shop, trees and cafe to help feed and keep you warm plus Santas grotto. Plenty to fill your time but can be a little expensive with all the activities. But you pay your money and take your choice.

Let's start with the positives - ice skating was fantastic and really enjoyable. The enchanted forest is fabulous and great for all ages. Not so positive - the Nordic ski is poor and the kids were bored and fed up - the segways are much better that you get in other seasons. I wouldn't have the ski as it really... More

We went twice during the Xmas hols - both off peak. The first time, dec 29 was packed. We spent 45 mins queuing for a hot choc. The ice rink qs were mad too. The second time was slightly quieter. Lots of people have written about the qs and have plenty of advice for the venue! I know it is... More
