Having lived in Weymouth for over 30 Years i want to share the delights of this great little Town with fellow travellers !! My mini local tour can be adaptable to suite most customer needs such as distance or different Historical or Social interests. Having been a tour guide before previously in Weymouth on a glass bottom boat i feel i know how to entertain my customers.
I am a passionate traveller myself having been in the Royal Navy and also being a keen Backpacker to distant and near places such as India, Antartica, Asia, USA, and Europe my favourites being Ireland, India and Antartica.
My Tour will be fun and flexible to meet your needs whether it is to have more time or more or less walking distance and maybe different locations and things to see.

We walked across the big stones towards the ammonite pavement marked on Google maps away from the throngs. Along the way we made a game of spotting both small and huge fossils embedded in the ancient stone slabs. Our little one was tired plus it's a bit tricky navigating the big stones, so I carried on my shoulders for most of the journey and got a few breaks on the 'pavements'. Even arriving around 4pm on an August Saturday, the nearest car park was very busy and we were lucky to find a space. It was around 1.70 per hour and charged until 9pm. It was a beautiful natural scenic area and we all enjoyed it alot.

Hubby and I went back to beautiful Dorset and our trip would not have been complete without another trip to the amazing Fossil Beach shop located centrally in Weymouth, just a stone's throw from the sea. The staff are friendly, always happy to help and give advice and you name it - it's there! You can spend from one pound up to hundreds on enormous geodes and fossils. Very highly recommended.

Very small interior which would cause a problem I feel at height of the season. We visited at the end of Octoberand with 4 families it was beginning to feel full. For me this was a must see shop. Prices were good with many interesting and unusual items. Worth a visit .

We spent some time in this shop, some really great Fossils at various prices, the shop is usually full of holiday makers buying presents, it is amazing how many Fossils they have, make sure you visit.
