We had an amazing day here. Had a wander around and found so much history. Children loved the mouse hunt.

We went with extended family, so children, adults and grandparents and it works for everyone. There is a lot more to do and see than we expected. There are 3 council Car parks nearby so when we couldn't get in the first we were concerned, but keep going up the road towards the Fort and there are 2 more, both... More

This was only part of the display. They have all been made from matchboxes, not just the sticks on a 1-300 scale and made by one man Mr Warren[can't remember... More

Somewhere in the mid 1970's a five year old boy stared into a derelict fort in Weymouth and asked his dad if they could go into explore. He left in tears a few minutes later, with his dreams and imagination desolated, after being told it was dangerous and the council will pull the fort down as it was an eyesore.... More

Interesting visit, we enjoyed the welcome, plenty to look at, a bit of a mixture of history, from Late 18th to late 20th century. Great for kids & adults... More
