Sailing or just passing through the harbour is a great place for your soul, does fine for your stomach in a fish and chips way, beers ok and reasonably priced

We had a lovely walk around the harbour to pass some time before we net up with family. We ended up doing over 11,000 steps walking around the boats, cafes and quaint little shops. Definitely worth a see if you're in Weymouth

I live in Weymouth and often walk along the Harbour. Lots of bars/restaurants feature along both sides of the harbour and a great place to sit on the harbour wall to eat our fish and chips out of paper - delicious. Good to look at...More

Absolutely English, fishing boats as you would imagine. The harbour is a mixture of past and present. Moorings for new boats while retaining fisher boats and a lifeboat station.

Well worth a visit. The lifting bridge which allows taller vessels into the inner harbour is worth viewing alone, but surrounded by pubs and restaurants, and having a working fishing industry make it well worth strolling around for an hour.

Had music on all weekend and lots of nice pubs to eat and drink. Boat trips run on a regular basis and you can watch the bridge go up and down.
