First visit to the Pavilion Theatre being on Holiday. The Genesis Connection concert was fantastic and the staff were excellent and very friendly. The Theatre itself is not to large, visibility is very good and the seats are comfortable. The bar is well stocked with a good choice and again the staff were excellent. If you're on holiday and looking for a show, the website is easy to use and prices very reasonable. Thank you for a great all round experience.

It’s a few years since we went to see Joan Armatrading here, we enjoyed the show then as we did this time. It looked to be a near sell out. The venue has good parking nearby which is free after 18:00. It is also easy to find having a prominent position in town. Booking tickets on-line is easy. I’d say the venue looks slightly past it’s best.

Attended the Rob Brydon show.
The show was ok with some good parts but far too many show songs and slow songs. The atmosphere really picked on the up tempo tunes so find it odd for him to do so many slow and dreary tunes. More stories needed.
The venue was ok but does need some updating. Row M seat 11 and 12 were fine although seats a little narrow.
The biggest let down was the bar. I had the worst tasting pint of Peroni I have ever had.
Check your pipes.
Also serving Guinness ice cold is just wrong and should be stopped. But that's just my opinion I guess.

It has taken me a while - a few years actually - to ge tthe courage to write this review.

I am a support worker and charity worker who uses coffee shops as a base. I tried to support the pavillion by using their upstairs seating area as such a base to promote ot as a local viable alternative to the chain cogfee shops in town.

Upon the 3rd or 4th time of doing this the mansger told me to leave and not come back as all id bought was a coffee over the space of an hour or two and was using their electricity to power my laptop, somehing that is freely allowed in most coffee shops.

I didnt go back, now try not give the pavillion any of my business and tell everyone who ever mentions the pavillion about my horrible experience there as it shook me up quite a bit.

Community-based my arse.

If I was just reviewing the show it would be 5 stars because it was brilliant however the venue could do with some updating. The toilets were probably the worst I’ve been to for years. The foyer got a bit c.rowded before we were allowed to go to our seats. I’m glad that I booked an aisle seat because being tall I would’ve struggled with the leg room.
On the plus side all the staff were friendly and helpful especially the ladies showing us to our seats.
I will be coming back when we are in Weymouth because the show was so good

Went to see a show(Thatl be the day) excellent performance, front row to the left but view partially restricted due to speaker( i was told this beforehand) had to turn my neck so not the best seat to have, we were told as there were empty seats further bk we could go there if we wanted which was really nice of the woman attendant. All things considered it was a really nice evening and the people working there were al friendly and helpful. Id def go again but will be mindful to get a seat a but further bk.

I can't believe that we were unable to get a refund due to us having to cancel our visit due to our son catching Covid. I'm absolutely disgusted that they haven't any policy in place to cover this, where have they been this last 18 months, shocking. Don't book here they will not let you cancel at any cost.

my wife and i went to see "The Seven Drunken Nights" The Story of The Dubliners at The Weymouth Pavilion last night, Sunday the 19th of march 2017.I have always liked The Dubliners from the 60's so when my Wife asked me if i would like to see the Tribute band at the Weymouth Pavilion I jumped at the chance.Although i didn't, really know what they would be like and if they would do The Dubliners justice (having seen The Dubliners live many years ago)Well, they really did dothem proud. The Music and singing sounded just like the original Dubliners i was singing along with them and my wife and i were soon up dancing. a very good sign that we are enjoying a show is when we start to dance. The story of how they all knew each other and use to meet, and perform at Paddy O'Donoghue's pub in Dublin, and other pub's around the City. if you like The dubliner's or, indeed, Irish music then I strongly recommend that you see this show. look in your local paper to see when this production will be in your town and go and ee it.You will not be disappointed i assure you.

We came down from Bristol especially to see Queen Rhapsody at the pavilion, the band i can’t fault, what we saw of them was excellent, it was just such a shame about the rest of our experience.
Five of us, all in our late twenties, professional women and mothers were treated as good for nothing teenagers who were out to cause trouble.
Admittedly, we were excitable, but we’d come a long way to watch a show that had been in our diaries for months! Little did we know, that we would be unable to get up and enjoy the music. We got told to “shut up” multiple times by the volunteers who were in the venue, we had moved to the back of the theatre as we wanted to have a little bop and sing as not to be in anybody else’s way/get on anybodies nerves, but even after doing so, we were stared at by the staff as if we were causing a real scene. A friend of mine left to go to the loo at one point and was followed into the ladies by two female members of staff for no reason. As I came back from the loo I was pulled aside by a male volunteer whose exact words were “can you tell your friends to be quiet, there are people here who have paid a lot of money to enjoy the show and you’re ruining their experience” JUST FOR SINGING ALONG TO THE BAND. AT A CONCERT!! I felt awful for the band, they asked on multiple occasions for people to get up and dance and get involved and not a single person did, nobody even nodded their head along to the music. it was rock concert, with literally NO atmosphere. After we were told to “shut up” for around the 6/7th time, we decided to leave just before the interval. We spoke to a lovely girl at the reception desk, and we got to speak a security guard named Dan who was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help us - we explained how we were spoken to and he was understanding that we had also paid a lot of money and deserved to enjoy the concert as much as everyone else, he even offered to find us somewhere we could be without “bothering” other people - but we declined, the show had already been ruined for us by the pure rudeness of the volunteers. Never in my adult life have I been spoken to or treated the way we were by these staff members, we are not trouble causing children, we were grown adults who paid and travelled to enjoy a concert, which we didn’t get to do.
