I was bought this trip for Christmas and it was absolutely superb! If you live locally or visiting the area, this will give you a great insight to the History of Dorset and a really unique way to experience the stunning scenery which is suitable for all ages. We did the Purbeck Hills trip and I even saw parts of... More

This is a truly enjoyably 4hr tour of some of the hidden gems of Dorset. It’s a good starter for a trip around Dorset. We did the Purbeck trip, though there others options available. Gary was a great host, a truly delightful person, who enjoys interaction with the guests. Knows his local history very well, even to the origins of... More

This trip is an absolute must! We love Dorset and have been coming for 35years but what Gary showed us today on our 4hr Purbeck tour opened our eyes to so much more Dorset has to offer! From booking our trip with Carol who was very friendly and informative and does great flapjack! To meeting Gary our guide was first... More

We booked the trip after reading so many rave reviews and we can honestly say we were not disappointed! Carol was amazing and accommodated us (2 adults, a teenager and a 6 year old) at such short notice. This was an amazing 4hrs of the most beautiful Dorset/Purbeck landscapes you will ever see. We definitely wouldn't have seen or known... More

Christmas present from our children as my husband has difficulty walking. We chose the Purbeck Safari, would highly recommend this, Gary was so helpful, enthusiastic, a font of knowledge on the history of the area we covered, weaving stories of his family of farmers backed up with pictures, so you had real feel of the beautiful countryside and the people... We happened upon Jurassic Safari via Tripadvisor, and phoned to see if the tour could accommodate our 9 and 11 year old. The owners were lovely on the intake to ensure the last available slot was suitable, and went out of their way to accommodate the children in snacks and conversation. The Land Rover was an experience in and of... More

We have just got back after having a fantastic afternoon doing the Purbeck Hills Jurassic Safari. Gary was a superb host with so much interesting and amusing knowledge about the area. Would highly recommend this tour if visiting Weymouth. PS. The cake and hot drink was a nice touch.

Having been a regular visitor to Dorset for many a decade, I wasn't too sure what worth this would be, but - within moments of it starting - I was hooked: Gary is a wonderful host with a true passion for what he does, and he brought everything to life, and took us to places that were astonishing, remarkable and... We live in Dorset and booked this on the recommendation of friends - booked the Purbeck Safari. There were only four of us on the trip I imagine if there were six it could be a bit cramped. We see parts of Purbeck that we didn't know about and are unlikely to see again unless we tour again as much... More
