Thought it was a bit overpriced for what it is at £8. 75. Only there for half hour Nice and quiet though.

Multiple pools in small garden. Numerous different water lilies, which attract dragon flies. Idyllic place, paths around pools pass through well maintained woodland garden. Adequate gravelled car park. Very good cafe. Seems to have been a labour of love for the owners. Small plant sales area, normal gift shop and good displays detailing history of the site. Charming.

A quick stop for a coffee while I had time to kill... What a lovely little coffee shop, clean and pleasant , the lady was really friendly , coffee was hot and fresh and I sat out side looking out over the gardens, which was very beautiful, would recommend xxx

Beautiful sunny Sunday - gorgeous walks - stunning lillies & lots of pretty walk ways, some of the walks are not good for older or unstable people but there are lots of seats & benches all around the gardens, a peaceful corner of Weymouth & well worth a visit - we will be going back for sure

We visit a lot of gardens but this one uniquely is all water lilies set in 8 ponds in 8 acres. It had been raining a lot before we arrived and the footpaths were very wet and slippery so if going on a wet day you would need some good footwear. Fortunately it did not rain while we were there... This is similar to Monet's garden at Giverny (which I've been to) although Bennetts water garden is bigger & nicer. Took us one & a half hours to go round it. Cafe rubbish though - had to wait ages to get served & food expensive & not great.

I visited here with my young family. The staff were very friendly and checked I could get the buggy round as it had been raining and gets quite soggy! Lots of beautiful plants and we spotted lots of wildlife including a heron. Entrance price probably a little on the high side for the time it takes to go around but... More
