Beautiful, long sandy beach, gently shelving so ideal for kids. Great for sandcastles. Even in October it is worth visiting.

Typical sea side town nice big beach with easy access for disabled and buggies. Town is a bit run down and grotty in places but restaurants good clean with really nice food it feels like Blackpool without the cheesey lights week end is ling enough
