Arrived at 11.00 and we were offered a tour as I assume no one had booked one. We agreed and the guy was very informative; had some good quips; we found out ,any things we would not have found out by ourselves. The 50 minutes went quickly and we would recommend that you do the tour. We were politely asked for a donation but no pressure and we were happy to pat £5 each not knowing the normal price is £6 (else we would have happily paid that). All in all, a most enjoyable experience.

We visited both the 100 Christmas Tree event and the Christmas Carol Concert on different occasions during the run up to Christmas. Both were extremely good and well worth visiting. I simply had to make a generous donation to the upkeep of this beautiful Minster.

First time visitor and very impressed by this historic building and by the exhibition on sanctuary. No entry fee, but its a lovely building and its good to make an unforced donation to ensure its fabric is maintained. Lovely architecture and some nice stained glass.

Beverley Minster is one of the finest if not the finest parish churches in the UK, a country that isn't short of top notch churches.

I was brought up in Beverley and used to live on Highgate that leads down to the Minster and the Minster formed the major part of the view from my bedroom window so I know it very well. It is huge for a parish church and is really much more like a cathedral than a parish church being larger than a substantial proportion of English cathedrals.

If you are in the area and like old (>900 years in the Minster's case) churches, don't miss it.

Our stay in Beverly was a bonus on the way to Hull. I’m so glad that we stopped and the Minster was one of the highlights. Wonderful building, absolutely full of history.

We popped in here during a short stay in Beverley. There is no charge but a donation of £3 for a photo permit is requested, which if you are going to make a donation anyway is fine tbh. Check out the optical illusion with the floor of the choir area! The ceiling, like many cathedrals and minsters is inspiring and the screen behind the pulpit with pictures of saints and apostles is beautiful. The large font is a fascinating sculture. Would have been better to come in when they weren't setting up for an event, the sound checks rather spoilt the ambience!

Came here specially to see the Minster. Didn’t realise Beverley was such a big place and so lovely. The Minster is massive but easy to find and very beautiful inside. Lots of direction pointers. Lots of car parks nearby. Parked my camper van in the large car park for coaches etc and it was about a 10 minute walk away.

We've been to quite a few minsters, cathedrals, churches and the like and Beverley Minster is definitely up there with the best of them. Lots of friendly staff in there to help with any questions. You can only look and wonder at the amazing architecture, statues, woodwork, stained glass windows and sense of history that runs through the place. Would highly recommend visiting this building.
