Another Granny Wobblys closed

After discovering the Tintagel store had closed we went out of our way to visit Bude so that I could get my very favourite Belgian chocolate cinder toffee. I’d checked online and nothing said that the store had also closed down, so disappointed!
Luckily a friend of mine went to Wadebridge and the store there is still open so she picked me up some cinder toffee- sadly it had some really soft pieces in it, I won’t be making an effort to buy it again. Very disappointing as I’ve been visiting almost 10 years.

Nice fudge

Popped in for some fudge as gifts to take home as presents. Fudge was very nice and there were samples to taste on the counter to help you decide! Good selection of gifts to take home.

Having a day trip out to bude with my girlfriend and our kids and thought we would pop in to grab abit of fudge as you may do when by the seaside. Nice little shop with a oldish lady behind the counter who seemed pleasant and offered us to try the samples (not sure if this was actual granny wobbly?) Anyway fudge was advertised as £2.59 for 100g or something along those lines, so we thought we would get a 100g of a couple different fudges. Then we were rather abruptly told that the fudge was sold buy the pieces that were cut and not by 100g? And then she got rather funny with us when we didn't have any change to pay for our 2 lots of fudgey treats! If this was granny wobbly then she needs to be more like the cheery statue in the window as you come in and maybe smile! Or maybe this was just an off day? Over all the fudge is very good and went down well on the beach on this sunny October afternoon! :)

Addictive fudge !!
Aug 2017
This past week and when in Bude decided to visit the fudge shop as look lovely from the outside, and was not disappointed on the inside . We were greeted by a bubbly woman who let us try all the different types of fudge and with that purchased some fudge , we soon ate it. We also went to the one in Tintagel and was slightly disappointed by it but if we visit again we will be visiting again.

Best fudge around

If you are going to go for some fudge then go for it properly. I have eaten fudge from all over but nothing quite beats Granny Wobbly's amazing crumbly fudge. A good choice of flavours and an experience you will return for. A real holiday treat.

Beautiful Fudge

Granny Wobbly's fudge is the most delicious I've ever tasted! I bought a block of the salted caramel one and I don't regret my decision. Think I'll have to return before my visit to Bude ends for a supply to take home with me and for gifts!

A delightful little shop with a delicious selection of fudges and biscuits at reasonable prices for such quality. Served by a very friendly and helpful young lady. Highly recommend for gifts and self indulgence.

PROPER FUDGE !
Jul 2017 • Family
This is the "proper" fudge - the crumbly, scottish tablet type fudge (not the chewy squidgy stuff) YUMMMM! It's not cheap, but it's worth it!
